Those are full flower, or nearly so - figured if he saw them like that.. that it was a bit too late as flowering hit, and basil was starting to go bitter.

im considering getting a 150 watt hid. how hot do you think they get compared to 150 watts of fluors?
do you think it would stay cool enough in a confined closet, with just a 12" fan and no exhaust?

No, I think you would have major heat issues. If I were you I would just grow a bunch of clones for the outdoor season coming up. When I was living with my folks I would grow a ton of clones right now and get them out in like june.

If the closet is cracked, and allows light leak.. no, that wouldn't be anywhere near a good idea. Have you confirmed that it's not actually leaking light with the door closed completely? If not, you may want to go close yourself inside for a moment, and devise a way to fix the leak(s) you may find.

I have put my hand under a 150 hps. About a foot away was noticably warmer.
As far as having in a closed closet. What is the warmest your closet gets?

I run my 250w Mh in my 5x3x1.5 tent with no problems with heat just run lights at night (cool nights) and have good air movement a hps will be a nice upgrade meat but I recommend getting dialed in with the Cfls before hand and watching this. Oh and there is always the cool tube choice.

and i had a quesiton for so long. both the acids are labled mostly sativa..but ones growing like an indica..does that mean its showing the indica side more and itll be an indica smoke, or is it just indica structure and still a diesel smoke? its bred with some random dutch indica

i think the one without the tip of the taproot (acid) is growing lolol dont believe it.. but its yellowing out. doing acid and kushjam under a single lamp haha..wind dries em out too quick in my box and i dont wanna cover a sprout with a dome
diesel is 3 weeks into flower today. stubby girl smelling crazy very fruity but heavy
oh yeah..they get food tonight
these go like 9 weeks..kinda long for cause of sativa but thats ok..kush should be quicker..and so should my kushjam. it sativa grew into a sativa..and the indica into an idica. male was jamacian..i guess that makes it a 50/50 strain? right? cause then they clone down the phenos they like and tip the scales if they want? very excited to seee jamkush (if it is a female..)
if they dont stink i want bigger bushes
