i found it in the bottom of a skip bin under a pile of cheaper computers all i saw was part of the grill with the holes on top

and thought, mmm thats not what think it is, is it. after a bit of digging in the skip i wrangled it out, in front of my young bloke
he couldnt believe it when he saw the little alien head on it

Alienware used to be decent stuff, nowadays, it's just badly designed overpriced Dell junk.

There was always a big price tag that came with that brand, regardless I loved their designs more than anything(pre/post Dell), and no matter the price tag I could admire their hardware for free.

But for $10? Stories of legends.

I owned a similar alienware desktop. it’s in the attic storage now, but still works, albeit a little slow by todays standards.

the last alienware i had was this laptop. got to a point where it couldnt run more than about 10 minutes max before the ssd’s overheat and it shits down. poor cooling design for sure. was damn expensive too

You built your little sister a great gaming PC! The Ryzen 5 3600 is a powerful CPU that can handle most games at high settings, and the RX 6500 XT is a capable GPU that can deliver smooth framerates in even the most demanding titles. The 16GB of RAM will ensure that your sister can multitask without any problems, and the 500GB SSD will provide plenty of storage for her games and other files. The white case with ARGB fans looks great, and the 165Hz monitor will give her an edge in competitive games. The speakers are a nice addition, and they will provide clear sound for gaming and movies.
Here are some additional thoughts on the components you chose for your sister's PC:
  • The Ryzen 5 3600 is a great value CPU for gaming. It's not the newest or most powerful CPU on the market, but it's still more than capable of handling most games at high settings.
  • The RX 6500 XT is a good budget GPU for 1080p gaming. It's not the fastest GPU on the market, but it can still deliver smooth framerates in most games.
  • The 16GB of RAM is a good amount for gaming. It will ensure that your sister can multitask without any problems.
  • The 500GB SSD is a good size for a boot drive and a few games. If your sister needs more storage, she can always add a hard drive later.
  • The white case with ARGB fans looks great. It's a nice way to add some personality to her PC.
  • The 165Hz monitor is a great choice for gaming. It will give your sister an edge in competitive games.
  • The speakers are a nice addition. They will provide clear sound for gaming and movies.
Overall, you built your little sister a great gaming PC! She's sure to enjoy playing games on it for years to come.
