PCK (Pakistan Chitral Kush)Beanho

I am super excited about this grow!
I could not wait and start a diary in anticipation.

10 PCK Seeds germed (17MAR2011) and are on a heating mat now.

Once they have germed they are going into a 50/50 mix of clay pebbles and grow cubes (little rock wool pieces)

For the first week or so I will just have them under a 300w equiv CFL, once they can handle some nutrients I will slowly get em into my Veg box under the 600w MH.
I have plans on LSTing one in soil to cut clones off to refill the box after my C99 Harvest.
The C99 will be about 2 weeks ahead of the PCK.

So because of that, hopefully the PCK grow mad, the veg will have to be short because I need to get the C99 flowered before it gets too big.

I wonder how PCKxC99 will turn out?

We'll 5 of the 10 did not germinate yet.

1 Of the 5 that did already sprouted.
2 are close to sprouting and hoping the other 2 will be right behind.

Hopefully I got 20 seeds because of good value and not low germination ratio's.

i guess there a lil slow ....least one has a buddy now lol

Still 3 others have germinated . Just waiting for the sprouts!

Okay now this is getting exciting!

Up to a 80% germination rate as of 23MAR2011. Now 6 days after I had put em in.

3 of the 8 that have germed are seedlings.
The other five have tapped out and are expected any day now.
only 2 have not germed and I belive one is due soon. The shell looks like its under pressure and is getting ready to break.

So note the longer germ times for these.

Some more pics of the 4 sprouts from today.
I think I will just have 7 plants from 10 seeds this go.
Seems the 3 don't wanna do nothing. One has started to germ but that's all it did and the other two just never cracked. I will be leaving them for another week or so to see if anything happens.
The other three are due out any day now. I can see down inside the rockwool and that are just beginning to break out and turn right side up.

Everything is going good so far.

Still clue-less on what type of veg and length. Still need to make a system for them. So they are in them cups til atleast the first of april before they get transplanted into a new ebb and flow table im getting ready to design.

two more have sprouted today.

These are taking forever. Still 1 more left to sprout and still I am at a 70% germ rate. Not too sure if them other 3 beans are going to do much.

Still 7 plants, I can work with.

I want to take pics on a daily basis in veg, just to see the size and rate of growth.
They seem to grow really slow. From what I read and see so far. SO this to me will be interesting.

I think one of the PCK are dying. It just wont stand up and is starting to shrivel....ugh wtf.

I still got some more beans that will go in after I figure out how many females I am getting.
I have been reading up alot on this strain and I really like color so I will try to keep the purple turning plants around by selectively breeding. Each female will get 1 clone cut off her. Then when I flower and I can see what amaze's me the most, I will mother that clone for future grows and operations and I am also hoping I get a studly male for pollen.

It aint out for the count yet, but if it keeps getting worse I am sure it wont pull threw. I since have put it back into the cloning chamber cause of higher humidity. I dont want that little stem to dry out any more then it is.....All the others didn't have this problem. Just one. Just stopped growing and gave up it seems.

Things are going good so far for these.

except for one....Just bit the hard one.

I am planning on dropping the other seeds. Things are a bit funky with these. Growth is weird for a few.

here are the 7. Of the 7 - 4 are doing the damn thing.

So 10 seeds planted. 7 seedlings. 4 are actually looking ok.

I have 9 more seeds that I will be germinating soon. I cant get too ahead of my self without a veg room built yet.

Today I transplanted two of the seedlings into its final place. The other 4 are still chillen in the solo cups until I see a bit more growth from em.

Made a DIY ebb and flow today, Still need a few more adjustments but as of now its good to run.

Its holding 5 gallons of PH adjusted water. I have all 7 of the seedlings in this system now. PPM's are at about 200 ish....
Its being watered for 15 mins 4x a day. Seems thats long enough, its a slow drain back into the rez.

They are still under the big CFL lights. They are 300 w equiv CFL's and I have two.

Plans are to get em under the 600w HPS for flower after 4 weeks of veg....lets hope it goes smoothly now. Counting this as week one of veg finished.
