Peat Pod Seedlings?

First time I’ve ever sprouted in peat pods. My questions are, should I transplant the pods directly into their 3 gallon containers or transplant to solo cups so that seedlings can get a little harder?
And when should you transplant the seedling pods

peat pods also called Rapid Rooters and sure knock yasself out straight to the soil

once you see the root tips emerging

often with the new ones I cut the nylon on the outside to ease inside pressures

the old ones were of cotton and easier to use

read the label, consider getting a rooter tray?
