and that is bad....how?....let him stomp around and be spiteful...it would be so terrible if all the trumptards sat out a presidential election...
It's something to be hoped for and perhaps worth manipulating Trump into, ya gotta hold the house and win more in the senate to make any tangible changes or improvements. The main problem is with the people and a majority of the white population have gone tribal and some off the deep end. WTF do they think will happen if an, illiberal, antidemocratic and anti constitutional government come to power? A bunch of crooks and liars running the show will soon lead to disaster and the crookeder they are the more authoritarian they will be. You need to keep these assholes out of power any way you can and get enough of a majority to pass voting reforms and other effective laws to level the playing field and insure fair elections. As I said, they already know they have to cheat to win and are screwed with the majority of the younger generations and minorities. The are also poisoned with racism and bigotry and it's mostly those antisocial elements who control the party these days. The largest group are the independents, but they are now a majority of them, right leaning and include many former republicans, they don't like Trump, but still vote republican down ballot.

People are saying that Critical Race Theory is what pushed Youngkin over the top in Virginia. The fact that it is only taught in law school and other post graduate studies didn't seem to bother the GOP base.

Last night I did hear something that made a lot of sense to me. When kids were zooming their studies at home, the parents saw what was being taught about American history and race relations. And they freaked the fuck out. Also they are mad about all the school related quarantines, masking, etc, etc. The GOP were able to wrap all that up in the CRT flag and it worked. Team blue has to figure this out in a hurry or we are fucked. The races last week were 12 points higher for the GOP than poling would indicate. If you impose those numbers on all the house races, we could lose 50 seats.

The dems haven't been doing that well. I view trump as quite the handicap, he brought new people into the republican base and pushed the more moderate people out. His voters are there to stay, wtf are the dems going to do when they aren't running against a guy that says the quiet parts out loud and the moderate Republicans drift back over for tax cuts or whatever.

i would guess they're going to argue with each other, a few of them will hold out for personal gain, the separate divisions within the party will get into stand offs with each other over conflicting demands, and they'll talk tough about punishing criminals, but it will be all bark and no bite...
just like now....

The bite is provided by those two dissenting notional Democrats.

People are saying that the Edmund Fitzgerald never sank. The crew was kidnapped in international waters ("15 more miles behind her" indeed???) and has served as a 29 man (2+9=11 there are NO coincidences) advisory board for George Soros and the rest of the globalists. The ship itself was kept in a secret location for several months and then broken into two pieces after all the fingerprints had been wiped clean.

someone was saying that they still use it as a secret base, but you have to be wealthy enough to own a personal sub to get to it

People are saying life is a funny thing. My Uncle Dick worked great lake freighters. (he only came home when the lakes were iced in, a couple three months a year) He spent several years on the Edmund Fitzgerald, working his way up to assistant engineer. He got the chief engineer job on another ship just a few months before she sank. Everyone in the family was so happy for his fortunate promotion. A year later he had a cough he couldn't shake. Went to sickbay and found out he had lung cancer. In less than a month he was dead.
