It's working fine, had no issues at all, but been new to it I thought they might be something that works better with Coco like clay pebbles, but if not, I'm quite happy then just to stick with Coco and perlite

Love growing in Coco, it worked really well, I probably would try Dwc at some point, as I have read good things about doing it that way.

i tried coco and hated it. i gave it 2 grows and threw it all in the garbage can. i went from dwc to coco and then back to dwc

i never grow the same strain twice so it's kinda hard to compare.
but i think dwc is hard to beat as far as yield versus any other grow style.

nutrient deficiency and toxicity mainly. it's been probably more than 5 years since i dumped it so forgive my lack of details.
if i hadn't come from dwc to coco , i think i would have stuck with it longer. but i kinda had the mindset of "man, dwc did you right and you had good grows, so why go backwards". if that makes sense?

this hobby is like all the others. always wnat to try different things and see what's better/what's worse.
is that Ping driver gonna be better than the Titleist i already have?. if you play golf.

Yea makes total sense, everybody will have there way and some will be set in there ways, where they won't try anything new, I'm up for trying anything that will produce better are simply just make it easier

I hear you there. I have very little DWC experience myself. I tried it once like 10-years ago, and failed immediately, didn't even get thru the grow. I didn't do it right or try hard either tho.
The biggest problem I see with coco for growers is lack of proper drainage and feed schedules. Too many growers have their containers sitting on right on the floor, which makes salts accumulate at the bottom, as it can't fully drain. Plus coco does need runoff every time, and the "feed/water" idea which may work in soil, is a real bad idea in coco. I also find that with coco a lower EC is usually a good idea, compared to other hydro mediums where you would water more often.

the payoff even on one hole can be so awesome. you block your drive 2 fairways over, hit a shitty iron as your 2nd, then crappy wedge onto the fringe and drain a 25 footer for par. makes you wanna break and fondle your clubs at the same time. lol.No better feeling than hitting it on the sweet spot.........it almost gives me a woodie.

Well I have good pruning pots and water drainage has never been an issue, I sit the pots on a strainer type thing, so like you say, it doesn't just accumulate at the bottom, so because they are sat up on a strainer thing, the water drains as it should out the bottom and into a container

I used to go to the driving range a lot to let of steam! And loved it, so from there for feck it why not just get on an 18 holer lol
