Perpetual gardens, the ups and downs...

What's up folks..long time no type..lol.. I've been around for some time, just real quit.

I've been running a perpetual garden for, like ever with the same ups and downs over and over again. Trying to keep it straight is far from easy.

The big up for me is always having something to do, but at what cost...lol..lots..

I'd like to hear others thoughts on this...

The ups..always having tree on hand. Lots to do. And I like triing, keep in mind triing to keep up with the different feeding schedules is crazy. Seems I have something different to do every day.

The downs.....constantly fighting issues with bugs because I'm in my room so much. Mixing small batches of nutes, all the time. Never having a very big harvest. Being able to clean is just s night mare.

So, with this being said, after 10 yrs...I give up..

Tell me your thoughts on all this

I guess it depends on the type of cycle. IMO, a hydro perpetual is a little easier than soil. Don't have to mess with the bugs and bails of soil and dirt everywhere. With hydro, I run an ebb and flood table and ebb and gro buckets for flower. Just check the PH an ppms once a day and change the rez 1x a week. Easy Peasy...

Perspective is a funny thing. I work full time (plus a host of other hobbies, sports, grandchildren and the like that keep me busy) and my garden time is my down time, the only place no one shares with me. So in my perspective it's not work, it's relaxation and me time. Wish I had more time available for the garden - lol

gg seeds i hope. otherwise you could veg a mother with low lighting and almost forget about it.

that is one of the issues in a place that is legal but has limits on counts, flowering plant and or finished product. you almost have to run perpetual. my wife uses like 5g/day so like a 28g possession limit doesnt even make it a week. cuz somehow if i make enough to last her a few months i am a dealer. sheesh.

Nope, she's big enough to flower right now but I don't want too..lol..I'll just keep her on the side for later, she will be good and ready for cloning by then. And as far as plant count goes, sspptt fq that...it's a stupid law. How the hell can they justify this when I use that..lol..go get a real criminal
