Personal experiences using LED in general and also Far Red - Faster Finishing Times.

Hey guys.
I wanted to ask the community it's here if they've seen a true decrease in flower time from using LEd as your main light source and using additional far red at end of lights to put them to sleep.
Now for my experience I've only used LED.
It's why I started. HID was just not going to happen.
But I can say that I do seem to have a strain from rare dankness(Ghost Train #1 X Moonshine Haze) and although the breeder says 65-75 days, I've got a very OG leaner that's literally done at 50.

I attribute it done to the genetics but also the lights.

Even if you don't use LEDs, you always hear of these miracle "45 day strains" that seem a bit far fetched, but after having this Pheno around for a few years now, I think I'm confident enough to say there are DEFINITELY 45-55 day finishers.

Have any of you had any experiences with strains that were done remarkably fast?

This shit is swollen, red haired, and milky, while the rest of the tent is still white haired and skimpy.

Thats a keeper! How long does it transition/stretch for? How long to budset?
Is there a part of the cycle that is faster ornis it just generally faster?

Maybe breed it?

Is that 50 days from flip or 50 days from onset of flower?
The answer to that question is what determines if it's all that rare..

Some of my plants are looking a lot different since making the switch from HID. I'm seeing smaller fan leaf, tighter inter-nodes, less single leaves protruding from colas tighter bud structure. They do seem to look more mature in less time but I'm only 39 days since the flip 30 days or so from pre-flower..Some clones put under LED showed weird growth at first...

I'm sure you know that many on the forums count the other way, so it was important to clarify since you didnt.

50 from flip is pretty rare, assuming it also yields well it's a gem.

I've ran a lot that finish in 56 from flip, but that's pretty much it. My current clone is 70 from flip and I kinda hate it.

I just wish i could get this thread out to every member on here so we could get an idea of people's experiences with any strains that were just crazy fast.

Here's what I'm talking about.

These were both the same size in veg before flip, and obviously flipped on the same day. Ghost train is ready, the orange shit yielding poop strain I'm canning, is not. This is literally DAY 49 FROM FLIP YALL.

Ghost is front 2 and back left.
Orange bag seed is back right.
It's seriously night and day difference.
These are all photo period obviously.

I wouldnt call that a keeper strain after seeing the pics. Small buds. I also wouldnt call that done at 50 days... looks about as done as my 70 day strain that's on day 54.

Try feeding them more and or increasing the light... there may be potential for them to perform better than they are.

Mango Sapphire by Humboldt Seeds the phenotype I have is done in 49 days. I also use QBs but no far red.
