Yeah, the Pereskiopsis sap acts a a glue of sorts, just don't water untill the graft has fully taken, your scion will literaly float away.My buddy uses super glue if the Peyote scion is too big to be suported naturally, he just puts a dab or 2 around the sides(never on the cut area).

that's right. i find it best to water well 24 hours before grafting, then no water for 7-10 days. i keep grafts in a clone dome for that time, and they are generally nice and tight by the time i take them out.
