I just picked up at peyote cactus from Toronto Hemp Company, im still researching on how to tend to it, i know its a cactus and can survive harsh environments, im not all freaked out like how people are panicing because there is lightning and they are told their plants need 100%uninteruped darkness in the flower cycle. im just looking for some grow tips, or is it just a water every 2weeks sorta thing

I'm not sure on the watering, but a friend of mine has plenty of it in a green house and I know it needs light. It's amazing how you can graft that shit!

What do you have the cactus in?
The best route I've gone is a very thin top layer of coarse gravel, then some cactus earth (gardening store) mixed with a small amount of sand.

If you want to cut down the maturing time until flowering, you can try grafting it to the roots of a San Pedro. Last time I did this it helped the peyote grow so quick it reached flowering early in the second year.

First thing you want to do is put it in a non glazed clay pot. They will grow very large taproots so try to find a deep one. You want a pot a little bigger then the glass one you already have.

Non glazed clay is more pourous then glass or glazed clay, It will help protect your cactus from root rot.
