PH AN EC METER, ANYONE TRIED THESE?

not sure, I use HM meters and love them. please stay far far far away from those elcheapo yellow or red ph meters on here and amazon. they are useless, junk, garbage, ect.

my experience too although this was many years ago
the pen type ph meters that cost £30-50 are completely useless
they give fluctuating readings the probe/sensor is not replaceable they are indeed total junk imo
it would be much better to use the liquid ph test kits they measure in steps of .2 and cost very little
or get a decent ph meter with replaceable probes
the ec/cf digital meters work ok they tend to measure lower than a truncheon
my cf meter would read 20 cf or 2.0 ec when the same solution is measured with a truncheon it would be 26cf or 2.6 ec
truncheon tends to be more sensitive than the cheaper ec meters
after some experimenting with the system i found it was unnecessary to regulate ph with the nft system i use so i phased ph measurements out
