EC is electroconductivity i think,and TDS is total disolved solids. both are just measurements of nutrient strength
They are pretty much the same thing. It's just a conversion your meter will do for convenience. Just set it to EC uS/cm.

EC measures how easily current flows through a liquid, the more salts you have in your liquid the higher the EC. You probably know this already but you don't want a high EC, it's blocks up your roots.
