I run hg aqua flakes with 1 ml/ gal cal mag. When I first mix mine the ph rises for about a day, then it’s stable for 4-5 days, then starts to drop. If I add cal mag when it starts dropping it stabilizes again for for a day or two until res change.
what type of water do you use? Cal mag?

So filtered tap. Initial ppm 250. Aqua entire line with calmag. Mine similar to urs except when it starts to drop it doesnt stop untill water change. I add ph up for couple of days then switch to silica then back to ph up

But why cal mag will stabilize it ?

Not sure why, I figured it’s either the solution using the cal to neutralize the acid or it’s something to do with the plants metabolism and what it releases back into the solution. 250 is pretty low unless their seedlings. Maybe at 250ppm there aren’t enough buffers in solution? Before co2 I was vegging around 350, early through mid flower about 450. With co2 I’m at 650 in veg and 800 in flower.

Only other things I can think of are possible infection in the res or if your ppms rise try lowering them to where ppms stay constant or drop slightly.
