Hello RIU :)

Ive got this issue for a while now and its making me crazy..

My PH keeps on dropping down to under 5.. I can adjust my rez 2 times a day if not 3... My plants are really healthy not even a yellow leaf.. Roots looks healthy aswell.. I dont have any issues what so ever with the plants.. They are 2 weeks into flower.. I use a RDWC 45 gallon setup..

Water temp : 64 - 68 F
Ambient temp : 78 - 80 F

I use Tap water with a PH of 8.5 and i takes alot to get it down to 5.8 but when i get it where i want it only goes down from there :(

What to do? Nothing?

Well if everything your saying is accurate then the only thing i would suggest is to start using reverse osmosis water instead of tap water. It is very important that you start with clean water or your grow will be wayyy more difficult. Most people think its a pain but where i live in South Carolina at every wal mart, most CVS and other grocery stores there is a Glacier water dispenser. You can buy 5 gal jugs for about 6 bucks and after that you can refill them for 1.50 for 5 Gallons of reverse osmosis water. This water comes out at about 10PPM and is the best water by far that you can use for hydro. I can promise that if u switch from tap to RO water you wont have that problem for much longer.

I just harvested three white widow plants and two purps plants all done in seperate 5 gal buckets. After it was all said and done i ended up spending about 60 bucks on water and never had any PH issues. It was def worth the extra money.

If you dont wanna switch to the RO water then i would consider choosing a nutrient line with some form of PH buffer. General Hydroponics is what i use and it has a ph buffer which will help to stablize the ph level. Ive been thinking about switching to Advanced Nutrients PH Perfet Line which will keep the ph of your water at a constant 5.7. Ive heard great things about the product and they are the only company u can call the service department to ask questions about growing with marijuana. They are also the only company that makes nutes for JUST marijuana growing so that would also be a good solution.

Good luck with the grow man and let me know if theres anything i can do to help. Ive had to correct issues like this these 100 different times now.

Think I'm going to take your advice gtran and switch nutes for my next grow. I'm assuming your white widow harvest was superior. Happy smoking
