if growing in good soil you shouldnt need to adjust the ph of your water, unless the water you use is really shitty.
ph adjusters over time will cause the real problems.

Whats funny is I have researched this topic soo many times its impossible to know... Some say Ph your water, some say dont. All of them seem to know what they are talking about....
My water is distilled Ph 7.0

How much dolomite lime and how do you add it? I have read that as well, but dont how to or how much.....

Hey Got a quick question I just tried out ur idea of adding nutients and by adding just 1-2 drops it makes my pH level at 6.5-6.6 . So my question is , do u think it would be okay to add 1-2 drops each feeding , and then a normal amount once a week ? or is that gonna some how mess up my plants? thanks for the info as this is my first grow i dont want to mess it up .
You missed the point. When growing in soil there is no need to pH waterings/feedings.

i have been wondering about all of this myself. i think what alexander is saying makes sense though. the key is having a good mix of materials from the beginning and it will pay off throughout the entire grow itself. i still think there is something to be said for pHing your water but i would do it very lightly and carefully

If I add the recommended FN Bloom to 7.0 distilled, it will be at 5.4. I did this for the first 3 feedings before the lockout began to show, when I flushed with str8 water and tested my RO it was at 5.7.....

Not saying you are wrong, I have no clue at this point. When I asked here ppl asked what my Ph was, so I got a meter and tested and found it was low, everyone said the lockout was due to me not Phing my nute solution....
PS my soil is FF ocean forest, Ph 6.3 - 6.8..
