My opinion is no better than anybody elses on here. We are really all equal because we are equally anonymous. I don't consider myself an expert in anything. I had the privilige to work in a field where I have specific knowledge in this area. I try to give my opinion on matters to which my knowledge pertains. For the purposes of growing cannabis, the most efficient and economical way to purify water IMHO is reverse osmosis. All methods have advantages and disadvantages. Reverse osmosis units are pretty expensive, have limitations to how much they can put out per day, and they waste a lot of water. If you have access to a lot of free or really cheap distilled water then I say use it! If your tapwater is very pure and you are using it without troubles then why change it? If the grocery store reverse osmosis machine is your best option then go with it! It's all about finding what works for you and your specific situation. No 2 growers have the same advantages, setups, strains, etc. so everyone will have an opinion about what's the best water to use. Use what works, what you can afford and what suits YOU and YOUR unique situation. Happy growing my friends! No offense taken. But how is his opinion any better than mine? just because somebody "says" they are an expert on the internet does not make it true. google distilled vs reverse osmosis for more answers..
