Ph+ & Ph- for pools?

Is it okay to use Ph+ and Ph- that are intended for use in swimming pools or will it kill my plants?

I have heard that vinegar and baking soda can be sub'd for the real ph +/-'s, but is it by any means better or more efficient than just using the real stuff?

Thanks in advance.

i personally wouldnt advise you to use something you put in a swimming pool into the water you fed to your plants.. i really dont imagine that would be a good idea at all... just go to a hydroponic store and get some ph+/-... or you can sub vinegar for + and bakingsoda for -... but again i would just really recommened getting the real +/- stuff from your local hydro store...
