Ph question

Will using General Hydroponics ph up and down be harmful if growing organic
I have a bottle of the PH down and it's phosphoric acid so unless there is an organic solution of it I would say no. A quick search could find products and natural concoctions I'm sure.

I don't PH my organic (outside) plants. I just use the tap water but it's municipal. Only 55 PPM but there's chlorine and other nasties in it for sure. Adding that tap water to my plants could be enough to mess up the fungi/bacteria action so I don't bother with adding extra chemicals to PH it. The PH is 7.5 out of the tap so I always add lots of dolomite lime to the mix first to try to compensate for that.
Short answer to your question is probably yes.

Depends on the ph of your water. Many will preach that the microorganisms within the soil will act as a buffer, keeping the ph stable. This is true.... to a point. If your water is coming out the tap around 7-7.5, I wouldn't really trip to hard, I've seen it done with little to no adverse affects. But if its coming out above 8, bring that shit down homie! Id rather make a dent in the microorganisms in the soil then have full blown nutrient lockout, that's just me though. If your really worried about it, Im positive they have natural alternatives.
