My soil ph is reading 7.0-7.2
Should i lower the ph?
What steps should i take?
I have only tested the water with the soil tester probe.

whats the ph of water/nutes that you put in when watering/feeding?
I have never tested the water. I stuck the soil ph probe in the dirt and it was 7.0-7.2.
I then stuck the soil ph probe into the water and it said 7.0, not sure if the soil probe works for water though.

nope ....not for just water...7.0 is good ph for the soil.

when i mix my water/nutes I down it to 6.5. I use aquarium drop test kit 5$, from any place that carries fish.

Is that the paper strip kind, that changes color?
So fill my jug with water and nutes, check ph with strip, adjust to get to 6.5 for watering.
I think my water is pretty nuetral, but then again, i have never officially checked.
Im looking for 6.5 in the water and soil, or 6.5 water and 7.0 soil. Or will it go hand in hand, i.e. soil will be same as water.

its just like eye drops...put 5mlof water/nutes in a beaker, which comes with kit, add 3 drops of solution to beaker...check color with diagram...green is good.

when I add water/nutes at 6.5 all available nutes are able to be absorbed by plant( MJ likes a tad acidic)..which will slowly rise in soil to 7.0 by next feed/water.

but that's just what i do.
