Photos v autos?

Same here. I find photos easier, not sure if it's personal preference or not. But I find that photos allow you to correct an issue and still have a good chance to get a good yield, depending, obviously. With autos, you don't get that choice due to the fact that it'll flower regardless of light schedule.

Yes..thats exactly how i feel. They say autos are really easy to grow and forgiving but i have problems with them every time. Ive got lots of free auto seeds...would prefer photos now..lol. i am fairly new to growing...grow outdoors during the summer and have had great sucess with my photos but not good autos....my 1st grow indoors this winter..again probs with autos but my phitos are doing great. So yeah interesting...cheers

I find photos much easier to manage they can take more stress(TRAINNING) and personally the yield difference for me is a significant factor in why I go photo grows.

Me personally i dont grow autos. Have and every time tgey either didnt grow like they should or produced inferior product compared to photoperiods. Every flaw you pay for in yield with autos. Plus you cant clone them i like to find good ones and keep only those clones while sorting through new stuff for future keeper cuts. Cant do with auto. Auto= roll of dice no control in your hands in my opinion. Some ppl love em but not me. The same ppl ask me why thier weed aint curing right. Its not the cure its the lack to begin with.

Autos are so intriguing. If I get a freebie I will set one up in it's own tent. I kind of love the idea of them but worry I would stunt it.

My first grow and they gave me a free auto seed, about a month in and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. LOL next time tho I only want photos, I like taking my time

As some guys have mentioned up above, you can train as long as you want get the plant you want with photos, with autos you are limited.

My brother-in-law prefers indoor autos. He doesn’t have much mobility and likes to keep things easy. Doesn’t worry about flipping lights or even a nutrient feeding schedule. Just Grow and Go.

Photos are better just for the fact that you can clone them. Free plants? Yes please!! Add the fact that you can manipulate them and they continue to grow vegetatively and you’ve got a winner.

I still like to fool around with autos occasionally. Great for early spring, outdoor before it gets too blazing hot, grow.

There is no point for autos unless you only grow outdoor and need some smoke inbetween April and October. I could see them being great for that.

otherwise they’re lower on the yields and THC, 9 times out of 10. Don’t get me wrong there are some bangers out there. But photos are weed x weed. Autos are weed x weed x another plant. Ruderalis. I used to run autos for novelty until I realized 4 good photos would yield me same as 16 autos. They often only produce 1-2zips. I don’t recommendthem.

Ruderalis is still cannabis, but a hemp variety from Russia, known to grow year round in cool temperatures. I agree with you on all points
