Phylos Bio = Monsanto

Phylos Bio has as it's head of breeding none of than John Mcferson of Monsanto.
You know Monsanto's largest seed corn plant is here in Constantine, MI? Another company across the road from from that plant called Pioneer Hi Bred International along with other growers in St. Joseph county produce 40% of the US seed corn. Pretty crazy. I drive past that Monsanto plant often on my way down to Indiana. I was just past there last week and the Monsanto plant changed their sign out front to Bayer

I'm sorry but it was beyond naive for people to send them genetics and believe in today's world that it was anything but what has come to light. And to add insult to injury they charged people money to steal their genetics. What's that old saying, a fool and his money are soon parted.

Congrats to those who participated in supplying the inputs for ©plantCRISPR, might actually be a cool thing someday.

I have no dog in the race. If what phylos did was legal and or people failed to read fine print, I dunno what to say.

Why else would someone have sent in samples if not for signaling/posturing about the genetics they had for whatever reason while failing to see risk of potential unethical opportunist in their source of validation, good luck market.

That’s the mentality of exploitative capitalism, Monsanto goon

This is looking pretty bad. And the thing about it is phylos claimed from the beginning that the phylos galaxy was to help the community have a better understanding of it genetics. They also claimed to wanted nothing to do with breeding. They're gonna patent and GMO our cultivars. They need took out back and shot if you ask me.

Without actual contractual language what this is is a kind of speculation and conjecture and isn't helpful. Can you point to specific cases where what you claim has happened? Jumping then to executing people, over plants.... well... I think there's been enough of that already.

Just hop on IG sungrownmidz hasn't stop bringing info about this topic for a couple weeks. Kevin mckernin too. These guys are at the forefront of bringing info to the community on this topic. And a phylos employee quit because of how disgusted he was with what's going, he did an interview with hightimes telling people what's going on.

The subject of the sentence is mentality, not “thats”.
"That's the mentality..."
short for "that is"
WHAT is?
Your? The subject of the sentence is mentality?
Read again what I wrote and ask what message did you receive.
I think what you responded to was a some noisy conclusion on your end and not what was intended to be conveyed through my post perhaps at my fault. Communication is hard.

Ok but that's like 4th party hearsay, what exactly can you share with us firsthand?
What are they doing? Are they stealing your plants? Seeds? What exactly are the actions taken?

So far it looks like they are doing what everyone knew and intended for them to do; build a genetic library of cannabis plants.
How anyone did not weigh risk management is on them to explain.

afterthought; Do either of these individuals cited have any financial incentive in the cannabis industry that might conflict with Phylos or what phylos is allegedly 'doing?'

Go watch some videos and do some reading. You're point of view will change. Phylos in a video to their investors, (Monsanto) explains how in a few years there won't be an option to grow anything but they're cultivars. They're doing this out of Canada so they can get legal patents on our strains. This is not good man. Take a minute to investigate before you shoot the messengers.

1st point, asking questions of messengers =/= shooting the messenger. Your first line in this response is to go watch some vids. This implies 'information seeking' behavior. The exact behavior I'm meeting you guys with.

2nd point, I have taken no stance; see "no dog in this race" ie: no point of view to change.
I can grow whatever corn I want regardless of monstanto protections, same goes with cannabis, no growing options is logical fallacy I think you'd see that if you step back from hyperbole.

3rd zeddd you're on ignore bro, I asked questions you come with zero answers, arguing in other threads is no excuse to fail at supporting what you've stated in this thread, lazy assertions, time suck.

It's because I'm busy right now. I'll gather some info for you if you want, but it'll have to wait until tonight. Really all you need to do is look at those ig accounts though. Can't remember the employee that quit, something frittz. He's on IG too.
