use both, good color comes from it, and u can never hav enough light, just too much heat

On the topped plants- every top (basically the end of every branch at the top of the plant) you want to pinch. wherever the NEW GROWTH is growing out. Imagine pinching a hot chik in a flirty way. Not to hurt just to show her that your there hahahaha. (I had no idea how else to describe it, but hey we are growing ladies arent we?)
On the non topped plants- just pinch the VERY TOP(pinch the growth that comes out of the main stem at the very top of the plant. This will help your lower stuff catch up a bit and keep node spacing closer together so that you can get full buds.

the new light i got coming is bigger and newer will one 400w mh be ok for 16 plants in veg state? should i use one hps and my old mh for budding or skip the mh because the hps is enough and i have to fight the heat down? i need a cheep filter soon and a fan to go with it.anyone ever try a walmart hepa filter unit with a built in fan ? wouldit be any help? how about the carbon pre filters? thanks

thats too many for good quality control, and u neeed to do sum reading. look up hid lighting, and c wat u find out. cuz it depends on size of ur room wat strain, indica or sativa, a whole bunch of shit dood

Use the hps & mh together you want to put them on chains or growyos so you can adjust the height as the plants grow. keep the lights as close to the plant tops as possible (put your hand just over the plants for a minute if its hot to you it is too hot for them-raise the lights until comfortable-also get a thermometer ($2 @ WalMart) put it as near the plants as practical-you want the room temp. around 70-75F. How much space do you have to work with? 16 plants on 24 light then 18hrs in a few weeks is a lot of veg time they will be tall so unless you have high ceilings they'll end up getting burned from the lights(you need some space above the lights as well as between them and the plants. the plants grow quite bigger even after switching to a 12/12 cycle. I would go with an 18/6 right now then switch to 12/12 in 2-3weeks

Thats what he means. In the states we call them lady bugs.if u mean lady birds red n black spot things , they wont harm your grow and indeed they eat spider mites , which is good
i have 10 ft ceilings and the closet i'm in is a big walk in so i have a lot of room .i'm going to try 50 plants for my next grow.i am thinking about moving to my office because it has 2 windows but they have a milky white plastic on them but the room still gets a lot of free sun?
