Me & My friend

Not exactly a pet & doesn't belong to us......but is very close to me & my friend. Always dependable in greeting us ,when we hit this trail, & probably also thinks of eating us too.

This IS one of a few that do actually own me though.

^nice pics..

My grow mentor lives out in the boonies.. he has 2 -70 foot eucalyptus tree's the red tails have made homes in.. he gets worried about his lil dogs when they are out.. we watched them and another small coopers hawk attack birds one day.. coopers hawk was the coolest thing I have seen.. jetted outta of a tree landed with a thud on a bird.. then flew off with it in a matter of a second.. happened less then 30 feet from where we were smoking.. we just happened to be watching the bird eat and after it happened buddy and I just kinda looked at each other to make sure we just saw that..

I love birds.. we will head to the Bird show at the Fresno Zoo for their show.. this is a pretty cool show where some birds fly right at you and interact with the audience..

how the show opens up

^ this bird was trained to fly out to fetch cash from the audience..

and this owl was trained to attack me.. hit the camera and my hat.. silent as a mofo too..

hard to snap a good shot when it's flying right at you..

I thought this bird had a six pack's plastic on it's face..

I would guess English pointer but I don't see white ones that look that good often. I have been around working dogs my whole life and that one I can tell is a specimen just from the pic.

Only other guess I could make would be a Braque Saint-Germain.

he looks a bit like a foxhound to me, although he has more white on him than others i have seen.

You guys are on the rite track , not English or vizsla ,but more in the line of the GSP germen Short hair pointer, because they both are of the versatile type (land and water retrieve, and point on land.) although not many in the USA, but very old breed. excellent guesses tough.

Yes braque Du Bourbaonnais AKA French pointer.
WOW! that is truly rare. Most people say they are extinct in U.S. since 70s. Well he is one hell of a good looking dog. He shows that solid chest that separated the breed from other pointers in France.
