Pictures in your signature

How do you insert a picture into the signature, or is that even allowed?
I've tried several times but all I see is this and when i post a comment it shows
up like a box with a red X through it.

The formatting isn’t right if you’re getting an x or the picture is too big are you uploading via image url or attached image ?

I did try by image url and attached image both.
Tried 1 from my computer also that was 4kb in size

I think signature image size is small
I can’t remember off the top of my head how small it is
Try a small photo for shits and giggles and let me know what it does
