Hi Guys,
I put this little unit together to keep wiring neater. Two 315w cmh ballasts. Since they run only on 240v and my 240v timer only had one outlet...this allowed to me run them both on one cord. The 315s are hanging from a lightmover on each side of a large led. I always like mixing lights. Oh and double pole switches so I can run one or both with the flip of a switch.

PS Sorry about pix quality. Cheap camera.

I built this unit 3 or 4 years ago and updated it recently. Originally it was built with 4x CXB3070 3500K, each pair running off Meanwell LPC 150-2100 and 2 really old generation Bridgelux 2700K COB, BXRA25 or something like that running off a LPC 60-1400 wired in parallel. Not long ago I updated this unit with a cheap Chinese knock off SunBoard with 320 lm561 2700K chips size of 250x250mm running off a Meanwell HLG 150H-24A driver set to about 145W (155W max).

3070's are running at approximately 1900mA according to datasheets. 320 board is mounted to a 28mm high heatsink with a 140mm PC fan running behind it. The fan isn't really necessary but since I had a few left over from my first rig i thought to slap it on top of it. This way I can still get a 200-240W driver and drive that board to the max.

That's for 1x1m flowering tent.

I also have a small wooden veg box geared with, again, chinese knock off SunBoards, size of 30x400mm and populated with 96 lm561 chips each. There are 4 4000K and 2 2700K strips hooked to a HLG-120H-C1050B

At the moment running at about 90W

Next project is grow room with 26 SunBoards 96 running off 2 HLG 320H-C1050B drivers for 640W max.

I have 2 hlg240a so i tryed the other one.
Same thing, i adjust the voltage pin a Bit down
To 200w.
But it goes up over 400 watts ,when volt and amps pin is on Max.

Your power meter is bonkers. You got multimeter? Measure voltage and current on a few strips to get average value (shouldn't be much difference between the strips) and calculate the output.

What are the pots sitting on inside the veg box?

Dimensions of the veg box?

I wonder if the LEDs need to be shielded from the tube's UV light. Will the phosphor be degraded by the UV? Could you start a science project for us and make some macro pictures of the LEDs nearest the tubes now and compare them a year later?
Been asking myself the same.
Don't know about the phosphor but that white plastic led housing is gonna take some damage for sure. Also the coating on the board.

I could do this, but I’m limited to my phone camera, I don’t know if that’ll cut it.

I was worried the clear coat on the LEDs would turn cloudy brown like a 10 year old car head lamp. I'm thinking the phosphors wont fade because I believe it is a mix different sized quantum dots and their diameters shouldn't be changed by the UV. I could be wrong.
Do you have room to install a rib of aluminum to throw some shade on the LEDs near the UV tubes?
Clip on lenses enable macro photography on any smartphone.

I’ll look into those. The solacure bulbs do have a built in reflector, I’m almost thinking the reflector is going to protect the boards.
