Both Pineapple Express and the Wackness are available on DVD and BluRay today

Just a friendly reminder to go spend some money on stoner movies.

Think about it, the more revenue they get the better, because that will allow more of these movies to be made, furthering the progression of the cannabis movement.

Let's give them our money, and let the world know we love our stoner comedies...

I was really looking forward to Pineapple Express and felt kinda let down afterwards. I mean, it was OK. Definitely better than most herb movies. Pot movies usually suck though. I watched How High the other day. What a stupid movie, Method Man actually has dry cured nugs growing right off his plants that he picks and then smokes. What a crap movie. I was watching 30 Days of Night and noticed the kid say that "grandma has ultra-violet lights to grow her weed".. like ultra-violet light grows cannabis... One that is actually pretty good though, is Bongwater. I laughed at that, I liked it. Especially when Jack Black is shrooming in the woods singing... Another one thats decent, is Homegrown with Billy Bob...

Seth rogen is a funny guy. He has a certain characteristic about him that makes him a really good actor. And so far I think Judd apatow movies are really funny. Pineapple Express was funny in the beginning but slowed down after a while.

Let's see what else Apatow gives us. He's gonna be the producer for Ghostbusters 3.

Well if thats the case, apatow will find a way to write him off with some dialect like " Have you talked to Venkman?" " Not since he last went to the bahamas with his wife". We shall see.

a shout to the YELLOW BEARD on the list up there...

pineapple express wasn't as great as i thought it would be... they had to hire a stoner acting coach to teach the actor who played stoner dealer dude how to act stoned... just a little bit of useless info.

It was pretty believable that he was a stoner... For sure Seth Rogan already knew how to act...

Oh,

I watched Minority Report again last night, I forgot how trippy and good that movie was...

In the first scene a man named Howard Marks is arrested by pre-crime for the future murder of his wife...

How many Howard Markses do you think there are...

I watched Bangkok Dangerous with Nic Cage. What a terrible movie. Nic Cage just gets cheesier and cheesier.... He had some really hilarious stupid lines. I also wathced Be Kind Rewind. That had some funny parts but was a little bit weird too.

Yeah I have Be Kind Rewind on BluRay...

The director, Michael Gondry, is well known for his music videos...

He did all the popular Whit Stripes videos, some Beastie Boys vids, Daft Punk, etc.

The white Stripes video that all legos was his idea, also the one with the projectors that make everything like ghosts and trippy was him too...

Definately some strange Swedish shit... That's why all the movies they make are called "Sweeded" because Michael Gondry is from Sweden...

You can get Gondry's music video collection on DVD through PALM pictures...
