Pineapple Express, Sour Kush, Purple Berry, Blue Cheese, WiFi, and a couple others!

I just wanted to post a quick update of how shit is progressing. Everything is going smoothly as far as plant growth and stuff. They all look healthy so far too! Anyways here are some pics that I just took. Please enjoy!

So this is my first run using Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil, and so far it has been completely painless! I haven't ran into a single deficiency yet, and I love it. It had been a while since I have had such an effortless run in my garden, but these plants are just thriving. They are as healthy as can be. I've just been watering with tap water. I do have some Botanicare nutes for veg and flower and also some Cal/Mag, but I haven't had to use any yet. And I doubt that I will until flower either.

On another note, I had ordered some replacement bulbs for my 400w HID light. I ordered 1 MH and 1 HPS bulb, and I received them yesterday in short time. When I opened the package, I realized that they gave me 2 HPS bulbs instead. I am not happy about this at all. I sent them an email and picture, and they said that they will send me another bulb. I guess I am going to have to wait and see what happens and if they make good on their promise. It just sucks because I am using a very shitty mh bulb that I bought as a replacement last year. It just isn't the same brand of bulb that I had been using, and I don't think it puts out as much lumens as the other one I had and just tried to buy. And now I still have to use the MH bulb that is in there because of their mistake. Oh well, it is what it is.

So I just wanted to talk a little bit about how well the Purple Berry and Pineapple Express are growing. They are both about the same size and have both been topped multiple times. I would say they are both bigger around than basketballs. They have both taken very well to being topped. They just bush out beautifully! The Purple Berry looks just a lil bit better imo. Neither one showed any signs of stress after being topped. The Sour Kush Aka Headband has been slow growing compared to the other 2. It bushed out nicely after the top but just hasn't kept up with the growing speed of the other's. It looks very nice too. I had topped my Mother's Mix plant the other day and it stunted the shit of this plant. It was already slow growing and being topped didn't really help one bit. The BBC seedling is coming along nicely now. The OGR Wifi Alien is a mutant that I don't have much hope for. It's leaves have come out all fucked up. It's hard to explain when I'm not looking straight at it, so I will have to post a pic for people to understand what I am talking about. I will probably end up culling it if it doesn't start to take off. Anyways my closet is starting to fill up fast. Lol! It won't be long before I am in flower mode.

Those plants all look incredible. Nice work man! Can't wait to see that shit in full flower.

Just wanted to post some pics that I took today. They are coming along nicely. I am starting to run out of room though. My main issue that I am facing as of right now is the fact that the Pineapple Express and Purple Berry are growing so much faster than all of the other strains. There isn't much I can do about that now is there? I am going to try and hold off for as long as I can before the flip to 12/12, so the rest of the strains can get as big as possible, but I can't wait to long. I don't want the PE and PB to get to damn big! But anyways this Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil just has these plants the prettiest color green ever. I have to admit that I am sold on this shit compared to my usual Miracle Grow. Well, here are the pics that I took.

So the Purple Berry and Pineapple Express are both 24" tall now. The rest are smaller, but I am going to have to flip in the next few days. I just don't have the room for this many plants. I have a few regular seeds in this mix, so I expect to have to cull a couple. I really hope the Purple Berry turns out to be a female. It looks like one to me. I can't get over how much faster the PB and PE are growing compared to the Sour Kush which has been vegging the same amount of time I think. The Sour Kush has that really bushy plant structure to it after being topped. Anyways I know there isn't a whole lot to talk about when your plants are vegging but just wait until these bitches start to flower. It will get real interesting real quick.

I'm excited to see what the PE flowers like I just ordered some myself, got a HSO freebie for pineapple skunk I'm interested in comparing the two side by side. Ill be watching! Nice job btw

Nice. Very nice looking plants. i got some PineappleXp going it seems to grow gr8 and the clones are very quick.

can't wait to see how yours turn out when u hit em with 12/12.

What's up Bluegrassgrower! I'm interesed in that Pineapple Skunk and a couple other strains that HSO has out. I've read some good things about their Blue Dream. I might have to try that one sometime. I actually have a Blue Dream bagseed that I got really lucky to find in a couple Ozs. that I bought a while back.

It has grown pretty damn fast imo. I have nothing bad to say about it this far. Hopefully I won't have nothing but praise for this one. Lol! It has grown to about 24" in about 6 weeks time. That isn't to bad.

Sop my first order with Sea of Seeds was a complete bust. I got my order in pretty good time, and their stealth shipping appeared to be better that what Attitude does. I opened the envelope that it came in and there was a computer dvd case covered in that cellophane material. I opened the case and there was a piece of cardboard taped to the inside of the case. I peeled the tape off the cardboard and noticed that they had written down the names of all the seeds that I was supposed to get, but guess what? There were no seeds in there, so either they didn't put the seeds in there or customs got them. The computer disc case appeared to be unopened because it had that cellophane wrap around it. But I guess that Customs would have that on hand, so they can open packages to check for shit like seeds. I honestly don't know what to think about this. I had made like 7 successful orders from Attitude, and they just stick the shit in the envelope with a damn t shirt. I mean all Customs would have to do is open the envelope to find the seeds. Oh, and the envelope looked like it was unopened as well. All I know for sure is that I didn't get a $100 order, and it sucks!

I have been making plans for my first real outdoor grow with good genetics. I had grown several bagseed plants over the years, since I was about 14 years old. Anyways I have a friend that grew a shitty bagseed plant last year, so I proposed him a deal that he couldn't refuse. Since he will be taking the risk, he will get a slightly bigger portion at a 60/40 split off the final dry weight. I will bring the genetics, and I plan on growing them to at least a foot tall before they go outside. This guy only lives about 5 minutes away from me, but he lives in a rural area where neighbors are far away. And the fact that he grew a plant to harvest means that he can keep his mouth shut at least enough so that someone doesn't steal it. I'm shooting for about a pound of pot for my half of the harvest, but I will be happy with anything. I don't think getting a couple pounds is over shooting either. I can pull a 1/4 lb off a 4 ft plant indoors, so I should be able to pull a 1/2 lb a plant outside with a good solid veg. I know alot of it will still be strain dependent though. I am planning on putting them outside sometime between May and June depending on what the weather is looking like. It sound pretty interesting to me. There are still some things that I need to figure out, but I have plenty of time to work everything out that I plan to do. I plan on doing this shit right, that is for sure.

I went ahead and flipped the HPS light to the 12/12 flowering cycle. I think today is day 5 of 12/12. I am running out of room. I hope that I can figure out which ones need to be culled as fast as possible. It will be getting interesting from here on out though. I am really looking forward to it too! I will post some pics in the next few days.

I'm already starting to see some white pistils, but I know it is still to early to determine sex. People say a prayer with me to the Cannabis Gods that I get a female of my Purple Berry. It really does look like it is going to be a female, but I will continue to pray on this one. Other than that there is a plant that I am pretty sure is a male, but I am not ready to cull it just yet. It is the Mother's Mix #1 plant. Anyways I am about to place an order with Attitude for some beans during this Anniversary promo of theirs. I just hope I get my order this time. ... Ok, so there has been some things that has happened. I culled 2 males which were my 2 Mother's Mix plants. The Purple Berry, Sour Kush Aka Headband, and Pineapple Express are females and are good to go. My Big Buddah Cheese was given to a friend to keep vegging, but I will be getting it back in another week or two to put into flower in my garden. I placed my Attitude B-Day promo order in, and I kind of splurged on some genetics. If I don't get this order, I am going to be heartbroken. My last order of beans was from Sea of Seeds, and I didn't get them. I guess I got ripped by Customs. If I do get my order successfully, then I am going to be stocked up on some good quality seeds for a good long while. Anyways I will post some pics of where my grow currently is at. The 3 strains that I have left are all throwing out white pistils everywhere now. There are even some small popcorn formations starting to occur. Things are going to start getting interesting now. I am somewhat disappointed with the small size of my Sour Kush, but it is what it is. Although I thought that I heard this strain would stretch alot during the flip, but I really haven't seen it yet.

I have more than enough seeds already, but I am all about selection. I don't like to pheno hunt. For what I am doing regular seeds suck, but there are so many high quality strains out there that are only in reg form. The Boghi Goji OG's look nice from the promo. I'm thinking of using a bunch of reg's for an outdoor grow. The real estate under my 400w cost to much to grow with reg's all the time. That's why I bought a bunch of fem's and got a bunch of reg freebies.

Gotta love the good bagseed finds, right now I'm running a swiss cheese and another no name bagseed in my 400 watt closet dwc grow, I just germed my pineapple express and a tga querkle. They both just broke the soil today so I'm pretty excited. I'm running the pe and querkle in soil. I'm saving my pineapple skunk and sour blueberry both HSO to do my next run. All seeds are feminized except my current grow and the tga querkle. Waiting a couple weeks and I'm gonna pick up a tent setup with another 400 or a 600 for a flowering room! So I'm real excited about that. I'm subbing up so keep up the good work. The girls are lookin good!

Thanks man. I actually bought some HSO Blue Dream's, so I am excited to see what HSO is about. I've heard some fairly good reports on them recently. This will be my first go at a purple strain, and I am really looking forward to seeing something beautiful. Good luck with your PE and Querkle.
