So I started with hawaiian snow and big bang. The big bang seed was no good... the seed stuck on the stalk, and it never made it. but I have some roadrunner and ssh germinating right now... For seedlings I am using some really basic uni-grow organic soil with alot of perlite, and even a littly hydroton at the bottom. I love a soil that drains fast :) Here are some pics of the veg chamb er and the hawaiian snow at three days from sprouting.

i gave it hope bro, and I misted it for 5 days, when I would water I would sit there and let the husk get nice and moist, but after a while there was no success... it is the first two leaves that give the plant its nutrition, and I could tell the seedling was not doing good... I took the seed of with a really small set of tweezers, and instead of the inside looking alive the leaves hadnt developed at all. it looked like a piece of hard sap that was clear, brown, and hard. I gave up hope and pulled it. I guess I could have kept watering the husk, but the stalk was starting to discolor and I didnt want it to rot...

looking good so far are. you going to train or do anything or just let it grow
good luck i think will stick around
I do plan on training, and since you brought that up I have already started training on my sprouted hawaiian snow, and I am sure some people will disagree with how early I'm doing it, but this is just to see if it will help with getting the plant used to training... I am not using strings or wires, all I did was rest a dime on the stalk of the seedling to get a slight bend @ about 50 degrees... Since I want to use the CCOB training method I want to get the base of the plant already heading in the direction i will start bending the plant... pictures will be coming soon.

thank you for joining :bigjoint: my first plant, hawaiian snow was 2 wks old monday, and she is already pushing out her top leaves. I have never seen a plant side branch so quickly. I made it rain last night and two nights before. she loves it. I also rained on my ssh 1 week old, and she loves it to, but she is growing super slowly. My Roadrunner has sprouted, and her first set of leaves are super ridgid I have never seen leaves like this before either! I love this shit! My nutes will be here just in time and then the real magic will begin.... I know this is a long post, but I just wanted to share and update anyone with me here.

Personally with the green house seeds compared to the dna seed I noticed that the green house seeds are some of the freshest ever. genetics may be iffy but as far of quality of seed I am truly impressed. The GH seeds dropped in water between 1 hour and 4 hours was the longest I waited. and then they would crack in a paper towel overnight, and were sprouting out of soil in less than 2 days. I did have trouble with a few because I got my seeds before I got my cab.... and got too axious. But now I have some three interesting strains in the ground ready to go...

I will be posting pics this weekend, and you will see my current results... My normal tempatures in my grow room get up to 86 during the day, and I know this is crazy to some of you, but I have the air replaced atleast twice every minute and my humidity is generaly between 50 and 60 percent. I know these are hard conditions but I am used to them, and I really dont think my plants are effected to bad... now I will deffinitely get the temps where I want them when the outdoor weather allows. In this situation my mindset is that I am trying to mimmick outside as much as I can... I know people can grow outdoors here as well so why cant I do it inside? As long as my plants get the right light the right water and the right air then I am confident that the plants will be healthy enough to thrive in what ever temp. there is. Plants do have systems that react to tempature. Infact I think that with the high temp I am able to rain more often... and my my plants are also stimulated by the heat to "wick" their moisture into the air, and then my plants do not dry out because of the humidity level... i rained on them last night and could do it again tonight if I wanted to. blunt time... if any of you play FIFA 11 hit me up.

Awesome! Looking forward to it.

If you are feeding tomorrow, you can go ahead and drop one of those 2-1-3 packets into a gallon of water tonight. This will make a 5x concentrate.

So, when it's time to feed and you want to feed 1 gallon of h20 to you plants, add a little less than a quart of the concentrate in a new container, then fill up the rest with plain water. Pretty easy. This will give you more time to schmoke while you grow.

By the way, use the 2 gallon packet to make the 5x concentrate. This will make a solution at a little less than half strength- perfect for plants less than 4 inches tall. You can always go up from there.

Thanks for clarifying the concentrate idea. I read your post just as I was going to water with the 15 min solution in one gallon and decided to go the concentration route just to make sure I have enough. I actually have them in .5 gallon pots right now so I will use half a quart of concentrate to a half gallon of water wich I will give them tomorrow since I rained on the girls tonight..
:bigjoint: attachments include in this order:

1-These are my nutrients supplied by DoL

3-Here's the gallon of water just after filling it with water with the packet in the container

Here are the plants:

4-The Hawaiian Snow got a little too dry one day :wall: and took a little damage, but she is coming through strong.

5-The Super Silver Haze is doin the best in my oppinion. She has crazy close internodal growth and is barely at 2 inches tall. I already have my money on this one. :bigjoint:

6-The Roadrunner is 2 days shy of 2 weeks old. She seems to be a slower starter. I imagine this is either something to do with the autoflowering traits of the plant, or a ph issue. Tonight will be her first rain, and hopefully the flush will correct anything going on with that..

I appologize for the poor pics, I was under a horrible light. I will post some pre fertilization pics tomorrow....

Well it has been two days since I fertilized, and I can honestly say that the fertilizer was just what they needed, and I can honestly say that all three plants have never had such vigorous growth whithin two days. I have never seen any plants react to a fertilizer so well. You are really on to something dude of life... again thank you my friend. I cant imagine what flowering is going to be like... Ill post an update in a couple of days.
