Plant hermied should I pull?

I know the “ Is it done yet” posts are like “ Are we there yet” but I’m looking for advice on hermie plant. I have 1 cheese plant and the rest are something else. Well the 1 cheese started hermen about a month back just one or two spots so I cut that out and priceeded. This past week she or two she’s put on a lot of size compared to where she was but she’s started to spit out bananas in about 5 or 6 buds which I try to catch and nip. I’m just wondering if you guys would pull her or keep her going. I don’t like sativas so I don’t want a racey effect that I hear comes with clear trichs. The trichs are somewhat cloudy but I really can’t tell. I usually go until they are definitely cloudy and some amber. Thoughts?

I just found a small immature seed right next to the bananas. Hopefully it didn’t seed all my shit up. The bananas definitely had some pollen and proved it when I smushed it between my fingers and left a yellow powder
move the plant out of the area into a new area, let her finish she's to far.....and since your getting seeds keep them...they're a gold mine....js

read that thread and you can see what i did with mine when i got one....

Very interesting. Is there one part you think would be more useful than another to me? It’s definitely a hermie and I found a small immature seed next to the bananas which left pollen on my fingers when I smushed them.

The problem is I don’t have anywhere to put her right now. Wish I did. Just wondering if the trichs are done enough where people would cut. I never cut this early unless forced to

she's still a good smoke.....let her finish.....basically that feminized pollen

In my experience though it will produce the hermie trait. I have been growing for years off a Jamaican Pearl that hermied on me in 07 and so far every seed I popped has been a fem. I crossed her with a Moroccan hash plant and she was super sticky and super killer. I crossed her again with an Afghan x Moroccan cross that I made but haven’t popped those seeds. I just wanted to tone down some of the Sativa because I get weirded out on it

Keep going - if seeded it self pollinated ( rodelized ) plants often trigger a self preservation response … mostly seeds wont be fully matured by end of harvest.
Most seeds need at least 6 weeks to be mature.
Plus if you get some / keep them.

This is in an attempt to save the species when no males are present. This process is natural for many sativa plants.

My only concern is for the other plants which aren’t hermies getting dusted. It started about a month ago and I just snipped out the nanners. It’s under a scrog in the back middle against a wall so it’s the least accessible plant and very well could have some bananas that I can’t see. I found about 5 more last night. This I only found because I wanted to cut to look at under a loup. It was one of the buds that gets full light but I obviously missed it last night. Only by chance did I find it today with the green headlamp in the dark

yes, how far is she now btw

I don’t know. I was rotating some in while others finished. Stupid I know. Like the last bunch I totally lost track of time. I haven’t a clue but next time will label the date I put into flower.

Cannabis is usually referred as the “dioecious” category, or plants that display its gender / sex, just like humans and animals .

Sometimes, plants with both male and female sex spring up, and are referred to as hermaphrodites.

Some particular strains also have hermaphroditic tendencies such as the Thai Sativa and Landrace. These offspring are called “true” hermaphrodites.

When grown even in best conditions, it may not always display its bi-gender / mixed sex qualities. However, even the slightest stress can trigger the transformation resulting in the formation of male and female reproductive systems on different locations.

Poor health , environmental conditions, overfeed , shock ( defoliation) and a host of other stressors can induce this response. Nanners once exposed can pollinate quickly. Pretty much S1 seeds - just as if you used CS on itself.

A couple seeds here or there doesn't ruin a grow. People find seeds all the time in commercially grown bud they get from dispensaries.

I would be thrilled with a few loose beans. I just don’t want shit that resembles brick weed LOL. The one Jamaican Pearl that I crossed is killer smoke and probably my favorite daytime strain but it’s full of seeds and I absolutely hate picking them out unless I’m in the mood to do so

You're not going to get mass pollination from a few nanners.

If you had a hermie with balls a dangling spewing pollen like this it would be a different story.
