Plant looks bad! Yellow-brown leaves! Vegging for 20 days! --Pics--

Hi all!

The clone started with ph 5.5 and came to me when 2-3 roots came out of the rw cube. I gave it some time till a lot of roots appear and put it in Biobizz All-Mix soil (ph 6.6). For 20 days no nutes added. Only pure water with ph 6.6. The temperature was 24C-25C (today i moved it in a bigger space and the temperature is 22C) and humidity 35-45. I'm looking at the pictures on "marijuana plant problems" and looks like Phosphorus deficiency or maybe overwater issue.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that the clone had a ph shock from 5.5 to 6.6 and then it went to "all-mix" soil which sometimes can harm young clones (as i have read). Nuts locked out maybe?

Any help please?

Thank you very much for the reply. I thought giving it some N more would make more damage since All-mix soil is very strong and it's nuts last for 1 month (i think). Today i moved it to a 11 lt pot cause there were a lot of roots trying to come out at the bottom of the pot.

Yes she needs N, but I think the real problem is that in that picture she is pot bound. The plant looks much to big for the pot and the yellowing lower leaves are exactly what happens to mine when I delay tranplanting.

So IMO you did exactly the right thing by transplanting. She should improve rapidly and show a burst of growth. You might foliar feed the leaves with veg ferts or whatever you use for N.

Today the plant looks very good! I thought it wasn't a big deal to transplant it 1 week or two after the roots had reached the limit at the bottom of the pot. I think the fresh soil has a lot of feed in it. Do you think that i have to feed it with some extra N?

I would say slow down the watering.. Looks to be over Nutes or not enough Nitrogen... Either way slow down watering cycles... Let the top of the soil get dry then water...

She looks a little overwatered and underfed. You haven't given the plant any nutes in 20 days , the soil is out of nutrients for the plant.

Check the ph and ppls of the runoff when u water

Don't feed...you did good by transplanting.......give it a few more days it should be back to normal.....the more damaged leaves will not come back but everything else will..

The plant is doing great but i'm not sure if the yellowing on the leaves has stopped (if it's continuing then it's spreading REALLY slow)...

2 questions please!

In how many days the soil runs out of nuts/feed and i have to feed it instead of plain water?(More or less)

When is the right time to give root nutrient to a new seedling?

The really damaged leaves will not recover.......and it depends how much nutrients are in the soil you are using,size of pot and strain you are growing......you want to feed when you start seeing slight signs of deficiencies........root nutrient???

The question about root fertilizer is for my youngest plant which is 2 days old. Sorry I didn't mention it before.

What to do if I see that the yellowing on the leaves continues?
