Plant Support.

I am currently in my first grow and have learned alot on RIU. I am growing some Auto Zkittles am at about day 55-56, and got some time left. Pretty much I just put the seeds in FFOF and have been watching the grow. No topping, lst, nothing.

Well the plant grew pretty good not like the killer stuff I see here, like I said its just a learning experiment. However I have two plants that have some long branches and are having a hard time standing up on their own.

There is a guy on YT that always uses bamboo stakes to support his plants and was thinking I might do the same. Could I place the stakes along the inner rim of the pot without fucking anything up? Or should I place them on the outside of the pot and go heavy on the Gorilla tape?

Thanks

I recommend these Velcro traps over gorilla tape.
Sold in the Home Depot garden center.
HD also has 5 or 6 foot green plastic stakes that I like, if someone buys these stakes get the individual ones not the 3 pack, the 3 pack are not the same quality.

Only need one stake per plant this way.

I do like the idea of the velcro tape, I will see if Lowes has something like it, no HD here. The pic you provided remind me of my plants and what they could look like with that velcro.

Thanks Kush. I looked into it at Lowe's and they have 1 roll, so I bought it online and will pick it up soon.

Yep, just push the stakes into your pots and use the velcro to secure the flopping limbs to the stakes. I think the tape I found was from Miracle Gro @ Wallyworld. Amazing stuff, it will support quite a load.

I made it to Lowe's to pick up the stuff this morning after work, got home and went to work on the plants. So far got 2 done and they look great, and will get better light since they are not leaning on each other, and support. One plant took 6 stakes while the other only needed 4.

Thanks again everyone!
