Webbed Leaves
The ‘Ducksfoot’ is a variety of cannabis that has extremely wide, webbed leaves reminiscent of the webs between the toes of a duck’s foot, hence its delightfully descriptive name! During the vegetative period, Ducksfoot (as well as the many crosses it has spawned) looks practically nothing like a cannabis plant, and even in full flower, its appearance and smell are highly deceptive.”

I’m telling you that you should let it grow if at all possible.

“Hawaiian Duckfoot is a Hawaiian landrace strain with the unique Duckfoot genetic characteristics, meaning the fingers of its leaves appear webbed. Its buds are large, dense, and coated in trichomes. From the indica-dominant Hawaiian Duckfoot, you can expect a tropical skunk and hash smell and sweet flavors in addition to heavy effects that leave you feeling euphoric and at ease.”

I don’t know about the landrace one way or the other but it’s good bud. I wish I had more seeds.

Cream of Lambsquarter Soup

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cups organic chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 pound unsprayed lambsquarter
  • 1 cup light or 'half-and-half' cream
  • Salt, pepper, and nutmeg, to taste
Directions
  1. In a heavy-bottomed medium pot, cook the onions in the butter, over medium-low heat until onions have softened (about 5 to 10 minutes). Add the flour and stir constantly, cooking for a minute. Add the chicken broth slowly, a little at a time, while whisking well to avoid the flour lumping. Simmer the soup for about 10 minutes or until thickened, whisking frequently.
  2. Add the lambsquarter, and cook for another 4 or 5 minutes or until lambsquarter is tender but has not lost its vibrant color. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  3. Using a hand blender or a counter top blender, purée the soup until smooth and velvety.
  4. Return the soup to its saucepan, add the cream and return to heat. Bring the soup back up to temperature but do not boil after the cream has been added.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Enjoy with warm crusty bread or croutons.
Yield: 6 servings

Ha ha, I don't do dairy either except for the occasional ice cream and I pay for it later. I was just joking with the soup recipe. But seriously, that's is guaranteed 100% not cannabis. It's a weed. The seed somehow got into the soil. I have the same weed growing in my yard.

Two for $5 on sale. The Blood Orange caught my eye.

So i went and got some seeds as recommended. Brucebanger fast and blueberry. Soil the first two. Banger is killer. Blueberry just meh. And now its struggling. The second two i dropped in DWC. Man, so much easier than soil.. The weird thing, the blueberry is massive not even 2nd week total. In soil the BBF was much faster. What do you think?
