plants drooping in dwc

I agree tho, usually I dont have the ppms that high in veg. There about 4 weeks in veg. I will bring it back down to 400-450 and see how they react to that. I check the ppms and ph a few times a day. (I love checking on them and watch them develop.) This is my 3rd grow and never had this issue before but I also never had a led light before either

Yeah most LED's tell ya you need to get them used to that style of light at first, which means moving it far away for a couple days

Hello RIU I'm giving dwc a whirl and I just can't seem to get these ladies dialed in. First off I transplanted into my buckets way too soon and top fed way too much. After some much needed advice I lowered my water level to the bottom of the net pot and cut back watering to once a day.
After 3 looongg weeks my roots finally hit the res. Finally I'm in the clear bracing myself for some explosive growth...... Or so Ithought lol.
After researching for days I read that drooping means 2 things underwater/overwater. I figured I must not have enough oxygen being pumped into my water so I added bigger pump and xtra stone two days later still no improvement?
My res temps are 72 which I know is not ideal but I'm also running Dutch master zone as a precaution. Ppms are 250 and 180 of that is my tap Wtf am I doing wrong???
Make sure to it have control on amount of air to each pot. So they all have even air pressure.

What ec/ppm you feeding it? Are they eatting is water level dropping?
Could just be not enough room in bucket for roots and water being that big
I’m just using general hydro

I’m just using the General Hydrponics it’s a 3 part system i’m pretty new at this hydro stuff have been a soil farmer for over 20 years.Do you think it would hurt it to try to move it to like a 15 gallon tote or do you think i should just try to make the best of it?It drinks a gallon and half of water a day.

I checked the ppm on it and it’s 430
sounds pretty low to me could be drooping from osmotic pressure. Have you been writing down ec drops or rises or ph drops or rises?

not really the ph i put it in at 6 and a lot of times i’ll check it and it will go up to 6.7 The problem started when it started clawing a little bit so i cut back on the nuts and it started to fix the problem. Then it started dropping after a couple days at first i thought i might be giving it to much light i’ve got to thousand watt hps on it and one 600 watt so i turned down the 1000 watts to 800

You said ppm/ec started dropping after you cut your nutes? Might have started to get use to the high feed and needs it upped more if your ppm is dropping fast. Also I like to keep ph between 5.5 up to 6.2 but can go up 6.5 the sweet spot 5.8. You’ve been just topping with plain water or with mixed nutes and water?

No it wouldn’t hurt it at all will make ph more stable and be better for you really as long as you can keep light out and enough air to the roots and water temp decently cooled.

I’m sorry i’m a little new at this site i haven’t mastered it yet. I’m just thinking of putting it in a bigger tote tomorrow and putting new water and nuts in it. I would hate lose this plant it is a monster it’s so bushy at the base it’s as big as a baseball
