Plants Growing Adjacent To Each Other

Ok . . I have a small starter plot in which i planted several seeds. 7 seeds sprouted and i kept the three that looked the best. I plan on transplanting them into a larger pot when they grow bigger . . but i do not plan on separating them . Do you think this will be safe? When I am able to distinguish the sex of the plants . . should I kill the male plants . . because I understand that if I i allow the male plants to pollinate the female plants then the female plants will produce too many seeds that would then ruin the plants.

yes, kill the males. you can keep them together if need be. it's best not to but you may get away with it. i did a few times. the plants may not get as big as they could of they were potted alone.

I dont have a problem with that . . im trying to keep them low profile anyway . . when i kill the males , can i just rip their roots out of the ground without distubing the female plants ? Or is their a certain way i should kill them, because they are relevently close to each other. I wish i could upload a picture to show.

maybe just cut them at ground level. you don't want to disturb the roots of the females.

Myself,I only put one seed in a pot, the plants don't grow as well together as they will separately. Never disturb the roots if you don't have to.

yea i kno that . . but i kinda wanted them to not grow as well in order to keep them low profile . . hopefully two will be females so that way if they do not grow so well at least ill have two plants to get bud from .

Since this post i have read through this sites forums a little more . . I now understande that I shouldnt have planted so many seeds in one pot . . but I still think it will work out with the three plants in one pot because I dont want them to grow to big anyway
