plants not looking good

hi all just a quick post i have 8 cheese in a 8 pot bubbler system but they have been in there for three weeks now and dont seem to be gettin any taller or bushier the water keeps going green cant understand why as sysytem is black light proof buckets and now the leaves keep going yellow does anyone have a idea what it could be i mean could it be that why dwc doesnt recirculate? it just has a header tank with two hoses coming of and teeing into the first bucket and so on so there is two runs of four could it be a ide to put a pump in to recirculate it or not?thanks for looking any advice would be greatful thanks

I don't understand your question...but if your water is green then you have some sort of issue.

Yup.. a quick fix while you look for a proper fix would be to add some hydrogen peroxide into yr solution. This should kill any algae buildup but you still have a problem there's no doubt about it. I'd keep an eye out for fungus gnats too as they LOVE algae and roots.

Hi sorry didnt explain very well basicky got 8 cheese in a 8 pot bubbler they arent growin but they have roots the leaves keep turning yellow and the water keeps getting algea and warm the leaves keep going yellow they have been in for nearly four weeks and havent grown alot at all and my system is not a recirculating one thanks dan

1) What is your PH? Do you keep track of that?
2) Do you have an air stone in the bottom of that thing? Your roots need 02.

algae can't grow w/o light, it's getting light somehow. Go hard cleaning it with h2o2 and then keep using it throughout.

Sometimes using tap water (which has chlorine) can help reduce bacteria and algae growth too, i found it worked better in my cloner than ro water.

Thanks for all your replies i am using tap water i cant see how any light is getting in as all lids are clicked on so its really strange i do have a airstone in each bucket with a hailea 80ltr per minute pump
