I have 4 ww plants growing in ffof soil and they are about 4 weeks into veg and the bottom leaves of 2 of them are yellow and getting brown tips and the other two are starting to get a yellowish color in the bottom leaves. I have not used any nutes yet and i water only when the pot is near dry, also the water i have been using is bottled spring water but i recently changed to tap water. could my water be the prob?

Clhorine in the tap water is what gets the plants, humans over time have found a way to filter the chlorine out, but plants have not. What I do is take tap water and fill a glass or two and leave it out in the room for 24 hours. That gives the chlorine time to evaporate and your water is pure and at a good temperature the plants like.

Got some pics up now. plz let me know what u think is wrong with my lil ones. also they are in a 2 gal pot and i water bout every 2 days. and my light is a 250watt mh about 22 inches away from top of plant and room is bout 80 degrees.
water them every night when you turn the light off half what you give them for 48 hours. keep the MH light 15 inches from plants. try and get the temp at 75 degrees and keep a fan on the plants all the time the lights are on. :joint::mrgreen:

ok its been like a day since my last post of the pics and today i noticed that the stems of the leaves that were yellow are looking purpleish. I have fox farm nutes i believe the one i have for veg is a 6-4-4 and i was thinking about giving it a 1/2 dose. let me know what u think.
