I have 3 fans in the case total, 1 intake and 2 exit fans, all running at a full 12V. The intake is of course at the bottom and the 2 exit fans are right in line with the level of the CFLs. I guess I will have to monitor it really close right off the bat to see how hot it gets.
I would love to make that LED setup, and that is an awesome walkthrough, I am just not great with that kind of stuff lol so I am going to give the CFLs a run.
You'll need to factor in your carbon scrubber, which will slow airflow quite a bit, raising temps. I'd recommend finding pc fans with good static pressure for this reason (Noctua, Scythe). Cannabis STINKS in flower so not having a good one kind of defeats the purpose of it in the first place, which is stealth.
The reason people fail with PC cases is that after they jerry rig some cfls (which take up a ton of space and are hot) they have almost no space for soil or plant height.
The best PC cases I've seen use full towers, DIY LED or pll for lighting, and have the airflow/odor control figured out. I've seen a few with 70w hps or cmh, but it needs a cooltube. It's a very difficult way of growing and many (if not most) give up and go bigger. Like I said I can pull over an ounce in mine, but it's heavily dialed in. The first few runs were not that impressive.
