Good Morning:)
I have a Sour Diesel plant that I bought as a clone at the beginning of April. It has been outdoors in a 15 gal pot with organic soil. I have been fertilizing with Vermi-Veg (7-4-4) every two weeks and worm castings every week, I water with purified water only and spray with a neem oil spray(100% neem oil and soap) weekly for the spider mites n bugs. It keeps switching from veg to flower and I don't know if this is good or bad. I moved it to a location where it will get the most sun. Am I supposed to pinch off the flowers? A few days ago I was pulling the branches down to let more light in and one broke, I am trying to root that one too. Does anyone have advice for the flowering issue and how I can get the broken branch to grow?

Give it the best light you can, pinch the tops, and good luck...

Can you bring her back in for some supplemental light?

Your branch is a lost cause. Next time insert into a glass of good water.

Prepare by using clonex, dip in Great White and put it into wet vermiculite . Put under low light.

Thank you so much! Do you mean pinch off the tips of each branch where the flower is forming and the deformed leaf is growing out of and keep the rest of the mini flowers?IMG_0189.JPG

Flowering season is only a few weeks away anyways. Might as well let it do its thing. Next time do not put out your plant until it's at least 15 hours of light.

Thank you, should I begin giving her a different fertizer? Something for flowering instead of vegetative growth?

It's the length of the dark period that triggers flowering. The nights are getting longer, so you might as well ride it out now.

You can make the nights longer by covering your plant in late afternoon. Just make a simple frame and pick up a tarp to cover with. That is called light deprivation. ie, light dep, throwing shade, etc, etc.

In the future to prevent premature flowering try to use the gas lantern technique or some supplemental lighting. Clones tend to flower when they get less than 15 hours of light since they were taken from an already mature mother where seeds need time to mature.
