i recently got these plants from a friend. he had them in really small pots and in cactus soil. any ideas why these are so bushy and light green. there also seems to be an abundence of water leaf on them. the strain is bubba kush i think.

give it some nitrogen it looks like its still vegging, then phosphorus for strong stems and flowers

yes they are hungry, hit them with veging nutes, mix up some water at about 500 PPM of vegging nutes and they should love it

light green means they are hungry and sucking all the reserves out of thier leaves causing the leaves to lose thier nice dark green color

how long do you think it will take for them to recover? Also how much water do you think a plant about that size needs and how offten?

The plants are not that bad, they need a little nitrogen but don't over do it. 500 ppm is a good hydro target but if you don't have a TDs meter then 1/2 strength of any high nitrogen nute will work. Watering depends on lots of things but in general plan on watering every three or four days.

those are some nice plants and would probably
double over night if you gave them a really good compost tea with blood meal
