To begin I am very new to growing and am experiencing some first time grower problems. I have recently become aware of a soil ph problem that was caused by watering with very acidic water. The water is measuring about 5.5 ph from the tap with about 180 ppm. Until recently I had been watering the plants with that which has contributed to a large ph problem. The only thing I have done correctly so far is with the setup I bought so all of my problems seem to be user error and a learning experience.
I have two sets of 7 clones bought at different times. I have not added any nutrients to either set of clones besides calmag because they don’t look too healthy. The larger ones Seems like a magnesium deficiency but how do i fix this without screwing up the soil worse. The smaller plants look like nitrogen.

Screw up with First set: ~ 2 week old clones
I over saturated the crap out of my 15 gallon pots with almost a gallon of water so the bottom soil is still very damp and im assuming has lead to a nutrient lockout problem. I have not added any nutrients besides calmag to the soil mix. They have been transplanted roughly about a week or so ago and don’t seem too unhealthy. I hope I haven’t done too much damage to them and hope that this problem is correctable before it causes more damage. This set of clones is sitting at 5.0-5.5 ph. in the soil and the saturation of the soil is slowly dissipating. If anyone knows any way to get some of this water outa the soil please let me know lol. I’m weary about running my dehumidifier to do it because it might suck the water out of the plants. The plants have somewhat healthy growth but some leaves are yellowing out slightly as well as some have light yellow color in the middle of the leaves. Im hoping im catching this problem soon enough.

Second batch of clones: ~1 week old clones
These clones didn’t get overwatered in the pots. I used roughly about less than a 1/2 quart of water and used it per layer of soil as I was filling it. I lightly misted the top layer of soil when transplanting the new clones. They were slightly nitrogen deficient with some yellowed leaves that was fixed by a friend right before he gave them to me. They seem to have recovered pretty well. The soil on these plants was watered however with that same acidic water but is sitting roughly around 6 ph. I t needs some adjustment as well but should be easier.

Temps & humidity – 82 deg steady day about 75 night – 55-65% rh 20 hrs on 4 dark
Room – 11x10ft x 9 ft high very well sealed with 2 oscilating wall fans and 2 oscillating fans on stands
Lights – two hortilux blue 1000w mh
Hoods- two adjust a wing large reflectors
AC – 18000 btu mini split
Ballasts – solistek 1000w digital lcd
20 lb co2 tank set at 1350-1550 ppm varying between room fills. I have a co2 regulator and desktop ppm gauge. I need to shell out money for a co2 controller pretty soon hopefully
20 gal reservoir with 165 gph water pump and 60 gal air pump with aeration stones.
Nutrients / supps I have : Calmag, FF big bloom, FF tiger bloom, FF big bloom, ph up, ph down, pro silicate, tappin roots,. I ill be buying cha ching, beastie bloom and open sesame when they are needed in the FF regient. I am following the one posted by Lady Zandra when I begin the nutrients.
Soil ; FF ocean forest
70 pint frigidair Dehumidifier
15 gal soil pots

Strains: Sour OG (i think) XXX OG, Fire OG, Pure OG, Bubba, and not sure exactly what strain the mother is that im growing

Your soil looks too light for FFOF..... How are you watering these girls? Cal/Mag should help the plant that appears to have a mag issue. Kkeep an eye on them... learn how to know what they are telling you.... Remember, these plants want to survive... its us that kill them by over thinking and doing too much. I think time will tell, but I think these will make it....

the top layer is really dry. ive been trying to let it dry out. everything under it looks more like the dark color you are expecting from that soil.
