Vidiot: The carboload that I added to the rez is from AN and it is (suposedly) for hydro. I am only using base nutes untill I can get this prob solved. Thank you for your help.

I changed the rez out again. The water was full of little pieces of roots. The pH kept going up real fast. Rather then keep adjusting it I thought it would be better to change the nutes and clean up the the rez real good. I do not see any new root development yet but they are growing again. Hopefully I can beat this thing yet. I just finished building my new veg room so I will be germing new seeds in the next couple of days. When I start my journal I will post a link for anyone that is interested.

with the added oxygen to the res, your gurls should be picking up by now....it usualyy takes a few days to a week....

soooooo, how do they look now? pics??

No but they have slimey mucus stuff all over them. I just got as much off of them as I could and did a little triming as well. I hope they are not fuct! I have heard a few people saw that they have successfuly gotten rid of root rot. Hopefully I will be one of those people. Fuck I forgot picks.

I have 2 males and 4 females. The one that was wilted real bad is starting to come back. It is the one with the 3 branches coming out the top. Not much new growth on that one but all the other ones are slowly picking u again. I think my insuficient air pump cuse the root rot. Hopefully things keep getting better. Im gonna flush again tonight.

My fan leaves are slowly dieing working its way upthe plant. Do you think the root rot has somethng to do with this?

yeah, i think your prob right about the root rot...i dont personally have DWC, bu i think they run sum peroxide or h2o2 or sumthin to get air to the roots and kill off all the bacteria or wutever...run dat fur a while...a few hours?????

anyways, i think your ph problem may be caused by your small res...how many plants total again? 18 or 20z gallons, right? prob not fill to the brim, as well, sooooo..........wit a bigger reservoir, your daily ph flucuation should be negated.

I have been looking at a couple differant systems. I like the stinkbud system but it looks like people have probs with root rot in those as well. Have you seen epixbud systems. I am subscribed to a couple of his threads. There is pros and cons with everything i guess.

yeah, i wuz gone to try high pressure aero (which i still think may be the best of them all), bu its still too experimental....i currently dont have the time to tinker.....

anyways so im out in cali righ now and i made friends with this man...he has his own strain, i dunno if u have ever heard of hawg's breath?....well, anyways, he offered to take the thinking out of it for mHe as he already has his own system hes been using for over two decades...he showin mhe bout lucas formula and so on and so forth......

i'll be the first to admit i'm dumb..bu i'm also smart....so, i couldnt pass up the chance to learn under an o.g.

Yeah thats bad ass I wish i could have an oppurtunity to learn from an og. Havent heard of that strain. Heard of the hog. Im in michigan you?

My fiances mom has a mm card and we are her caregiver. This will be our first real harvest so I really dont want to fuck it up.

When i get my tax returns back im gonna do some major upgrades

yeah san diego right now......the HOG is a fraud as far as it being from southern alifornia and stuff...its not the original....hawgs breath is.....the hog is a play on names to fool ppl into thinkin its thee SoCal strain from Hawg.....thats the man's name, Hawg...well, not his real name, bu we wont go into that...n e ways, thats jus wut i think...hawg didnt tell me to say that, bu he did tell me that HIS ORIGINAL OG Hawg's Breath is female skunk #1 and northern lights...male is william's wonder....basically from wut i gather if i have it right its william wonder and green crack as green crack is NL X Skunk #1

I had some root rot (hot res) chlorine helped kill it but it was not helping my plants i have been using this for about a week and it looks like it is bouncing back.

that shit is expensive but mind you you only need 1.1 ml per gal!(aka that is enough for 220 gal of res changes) an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

def not a fan of DWC with out a chiller or at least 10 gal per 250 watts of light... also when it comes to dissolved oxygen things such as atmospheric pressure, altitude, size of bubbles, distance bubbles have to travel, temp of air&water...

Update:
I have a ton of new roots and they look like they have made a full recovery......Except I lost a shit load of fan leaves damn near all of them. I gues the rot worked its way up the plant killing everything it touched. The newest fans are looking good. I hope this hasnt completely fuct my yeild but, I learned a valuable lesson. If you have root rot get aquasheild and hygrozyme. 1.5 teaspoons aquashield and 15ml hygrozyme. NO H2O2! Ease wayyyyy back on the nutes. I will post some pics asap. super busy at work. Hope this thread will help someone out. Thanks for the help everyone.
