Please Help ! First Grow Going Sideways !!!

First ever post on any forum ever ! Glad its this one. Seen a lot of good help on here and hoping to get some guidance of my own! Please have a look at the photos and let me know what I'm dealing with, I'm thinking its a Calcium or Magnesium deficiency. I have 6 plants and 2 are showing these symptoms. A little about my grow, its in ProMix medium, 3 Gallon Pots , 1000 Watt LED, with General Hydro Feeding with some CalMag added. I was PHing Down the water as it was reading 7.4 out of the tap but the runoff was testing at around 5. So stopped PH Down and pouring in 7.4 with nutes hoping it goes up a bit at the root level. Also added Dolomite lime just today 6 table spoons and mixed it in with the top soil and sent it down with some nutrient mix. Wondering if there's anything else I can do or If my girls can recover at this stage ? Has anyone gone through this and can give me some advice ? Anything helps !!

Looks like a few things...and unfortunately powdery mildew might be one of them, but I can't tell for certain. See if that white powdery looking stuff wipes off with a damp cloth or paper towel, for starters.

How old are the plants?

I have high ppm water ,I'm in the UK and I never use cal mag. Maybe it's just having hard water that lets you get away with it.
I'm in no way saying you don't have to add it but from my experience I'd say it's not needed.

No doubt I will be corrected if I'm wrong and thrown to the dogs for giving out false information lol but if my ppm's are 250-300 and don't add it then I'd say your safe not doing so too.

Test your run off and see what's going on with your pH. It's maybe outa whack and too low for some elements to be available to the plant ,hence the suspected deficiency.

Could it be slightly overfed, what's the ppm's of the mix if she's even getting fed that is?

Do you have a TDS meter?

7.4 going in and 5 coming out is trouble.

That lime is going to help make sure your ph comes up but if you continue to over feed (which is likely why your ph run off is so low compared to going in) it won’t help.

Excess nutrients will lock out calcium and magnesium and look like deficiency. I kept adding nutrients only to find plain water would help.

my suggestions is plain ph water for at least one maybe 2 waterings.

And get a TDS meter to check run off and you will know when the nutrients are building up.

Thanks everyone ! I gave them a good flush last night, but didn't PH the water and just gave it out of the tap at 7.4, My runoff readings this morning,

Plant #1 - PH 6.1. EC 1750 and PPM 900.
Plant #2 PH 6.2 EC 1600 and PPM 750.

Basically not eating anything as PPM going in was around 750 - 800.

Going forward, I'll PH it down for the next week to 6 and just water and see if anything changes.

Why not ph down it’s so easy. :wall:

Plain ph water for your next two waterings not sure how many more people have to say this. You have a toxicity and your plant needs plain water. Not a flush just water your normal amount once or twice and then look your plant over.
