Hi, im on my first grow and this 11th day seedling leaves are curling at the tips, blistered and glossy and can see loads of little white spots on the younger leaves. It was doing well until day 7 but then growth slowed and now this is developing. Im thinking broad mites from what i can see on google and the growweedeasy website. I know nutes can cause these symptoms but its the little white specs that concern me. Im using tomato grow bag soil with some bone meal added and bottled spring water up to now. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks20200504_144205.jpg20200504_144111.jpg20200504_143959.jpg20200504_143943.jpg

First off, what strain is this? That looks like trichomes to me. I've seen it before on young plants, a lot of times it's accompanied with a fuzzy/hairy look though. That looks like resin to me and tells me that plant should really crank out some frost when you flower it. A USB microscope or a jeweler's loop will give you answers.

I thought that at first as well, but figured the plant was too young yet for that. I've seen stranger things though.

I've seen it a few times, usually strains that are resin factories. You can see it in tomatoes too when they're young, at least the hairy look from their own oil production.

Is it powdery mildew? I've never investigated that problem because I've never had it, so it's a guess. What is your temperature and humidity in your grow space?

Have a look here: https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/white-powdery-mildew and do a comparison with your plant.
Temps are 20c to 26c lights off and on, humidity is around 60 to 80. Ive actually just moved the e27 led light bulbs up and switched one off thinking too much heat/light could be an issue and now at 22c. I actually watered it yesterday and it had a droplet in the top so it could be mildew kinda thing, i'll check that out. Cheers

Iv got a little fan on and extraction/intake fans change the air once an hour so im not sure it is white powdery mildew. I would leave the extraction on but its too powerful i think, humidity drops to 40 if i leave it on

It's not powdery mildew...Unfortunately I know what pm looks like. Your plant looks quite healthy actually!! Your humidity is a bit high though and you could get pm with 80% humidity, fan or no fan.

Edited to say I don't think it's pm, but keep an eye on it. With your high humidity it could possibly be the beginning of it. I really don't think so but just watch it. Powdery mildew wipes right off with a damp paper towel, but then will come back. Trichomes won't wipe off.
