PLEASE HELP!!! I need your guys help on this plant issue before these babies die!!!

ok heres whats up... DWC is my game im a specialist cuz its my main grow mode. you put 3 plants in too tight of quarters. plants can sense overcrowding and it causes shock. your rootmass cant properly uptake. i use the RF66. http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/systems/rainforest_series/ and yes i know its an aeroponic unit but i dont use the vortex sprayer. i just DWC with that unit.

and i put 3 plants per 15gal unit with 4 airstones fed from a 110L commercial pump. and on occasion i get root shock. I also use the 5gal buckets simetimes like you do but only with 1 plant. and those can cause root shock if the roots fill it out too much.

your suffering from N and K mainly. Heat stress is very probable.

USE LESS PLANTS OR UPGRADE YOUR DWC UNIT good luck homie

So is there any way i can trim these roots and split them up at this stage or should i just trip them and hope for the best?

I am new to my deep water system but am experiencing a similar experience. I determined mine to be a possible manganese deficiency. I did a lot of research as I have 24 plants experiencing this problem and its stressing me out a bit. However, what I found out is that manganese is absorbed most readily between 5.5-5-9 ph. If the ph is higher, the plant cannot absorb it. You should go check out some images of manganese deficiency, not to be confused with magnesium, and see if it looks similar to yours. If so, I would suggest lowering the ph to at least 5-8. My last (and 1st) grow was so perfect and I kept my ph as close to 5.8 as I could the whole time. What is the temperature of your water?

okay i checked out the light heat and nah it doesnt seem to have an issue there. I dont know my ppms as I do not have a tester but I am using well water with a base of about 600 ppm. Im using the GH lineup at 50 percent solution for flowering so that means I only used 2.5 tsp of nitro for it.. So do i need to go back to vegging nutes until they heal?
With a base PPM that high you are screwed. Good luck using that water and trying to balance DWC with it. Additionally you stated before your pH is in excess of 6.1. Good luck with that. You do not sound like you have a half clue really. Not trying to insult but to reorient you. You have fat too much going on here for your lack of skill. Try one complete plant in a DWC.

Lol everything has been fine for two months. The water is fine. Ive seen people basically have their water as soup the ppm was so high. IF you want to be negative and redirect the thread somehow to make yourself look better than someone else I suggest you go to 4chan otherwise your input is not welcome in any of my posts. You could have stated what you said in numerous different ways but you chose to be a dick. Is there a way to block people here

Sorry for the B.S. dude. Ill giver a go. I noticed no mention of a calmag supplement. That kinda worries me a little. MJ needs her some calmag usually. I dont think that youve got a heat problem. I dont think you have a ph problem. I do think you may have a root space problem. Now, how to fix that issue might be a little tricky. Im thinking its going to take a 27 gallon tote from walmart and some creative thinking. Maybe switch out the bucket theyre in for one with a whole bunch of slots or holes cut in the sides like a net pot bucket and drop it into the tote. They are going to start drinking really fast soon and you will enjoy having extra water for them to draw from with a six hundred ppm starting point, cause when they start drinking and that ppm rises...owch.
Two more things, run your fan 24 hrs a day. Just do it. And get a ppm meter off amazon, its hilarious that anyone would attempt hydro without one. Whats the ppm in your buckets right now? Lol, you dont know huh?
So change it up, or just say fek it and flower em out. You decide but in the future id grab some calmag and a ppm meter. With out those two things your going to have problems. Good luck :):):)

I got botanicare cal mag plus juice. I just havent used it in a long time. Also I already have (2) 25 Gallon totes that I have previously used before. Also I just checked my ph. I use the drops in the test tube to measure my ph. So it looks like I got some work cut out for me. So out of the things you thought I was missing I have them all lol. I just gave them fresh water last night and the ph has risen from 6 to 7. So I think we might have this prob figured out. Thanks so much for your insight. I think this may be the issue. Now do you happen to know how much of the cal mag I should use per gallon I cant seem to read the instructions right thats why I never really touch it. IS it 50 percent strength or so on. All my other grows went by without as much as a single issue

tap water usually has enough cal/mag in it, go back and look at the chart, cal/mag def. has rust spots and stems will usually turn purple. Flowering nutes are always short on N, so it is either a N def. Or a root issue.

The stems on my leaf towards the top are turning purple is any indication. And to tell you the truth I can veg this plants fine with just my well water and they seem to grow fine :D
