whats up RIU? I got a serious issue gong on here and some help would be highly appreciated.

alright first things first, the strain is orange kush and I think its a hybrid type..it has long broad leaves when they're fully grown out. the story behind this is 4 generations as it was grown from a seed my dude gave me. got lucky and got a female from it. the first go around was ok, I ended up getting 2.5oz wet using mexican and jamaican bat guano, azamax, cal-mag plus and gardeners choice soil from walmart. second generation I used super soil but not the exact recipe...I couldnt afford the commercial soils so I got a local mix which I think is the root of this problem. it ended up making the super soil a living hell for the plants, literally, burning everything that went in it and I baked it over month. so to save the strain I took a few clones and ended up getting one back from which I got this one that im having problems with now. the mother wasnt all that healthy either but its budding pretty good.

now this clone I have is only a few weeks old in a 1gal pot with FFOF with LW, humic acid (from ebay), azomite and some ag-lime. its currently under a 2 bulb T5 (poor mans grow). ill be feeding with sunleaves bat guano, molasses and a pinch of humic acid. should I maybe leave that out since its in the soil already? the issue though is the leaves are growing all deformed and what not. I dont think its pH, im thinkin I fucked the genetics up using that cheap local mix for the super soil cause it hasnt recovered fully since that. im gonna post some pics so u guys can see whats going on

doesnt look all that bad. probably a slight ph/nutrient problem as ffof is hot and with the rest of the goods...i havent used ffof in a bit but it sure looks like it has gotten more full of wood. I would use ph'd bubbled water ,or let it sit for 24-48 hours. and watch her recover. good luck

its growing deformed leaves and theres white spots on them but I dont have mites, I already checked. as u can see in the pics it looks like somethings chewing on it...mostly every leaf is like that.

well deformed leafs are a result of you taking your clones when your mothers are past 2 week flowering. you get those basil looking leafs... it doesnt affect yield or anything, just keep vegging it

thats what I had to do. my first batch didnt make it cause of temp problems, so I took a few more and ended up with this one. the mother was almost two weeks into flower at that point....but I should be fine though?

oh yea could it have something to do with my water? I use tap water but I let it sit out 24hrs before using it. im also about to look at my water report, something I should of done a long time ago.

dont worry man, i cloned some retards last batch, they ended up pretty well. i would try and clone before the buds develop, if u got no choice you can still clone, they will just take longer to root and revert back into beg. tap water should be fine as long as you dont have like anytihng over 400PPM. anything from 0-200ppm is acceptable. 400PPM+ causes nutrient uptake problem.. IMO RO water is the best

just read the water report and it has chloramines in it. its at the highest value it can be at, I think it was 2.20

and if I could afford a R/O system I would get one...maybe ill start using distilled water from the store since the chloramine is killing my bennies

dude, dont buy distilled water. its like 2$ per gal... if u want to save some cost, just rig your gutters to drain into a container... you will get nice PHed rainwater.. just sediment filter it and its ready to use.

its 88 cents a gallon and I only use about 7 gallons a week...i kno it costs but I would feel safer, theres so much shit in the air now a days

could it be the chloramine? and since its in my water I should just switch to synthetic stuff...already killin bennies...

it is growing deformed because you took it out of flower and put it into vegg again, this ALWAYS happens when you revert the plants life cycle backwards, give it about 4 weeks and you will see the leaves start to grow normal again. you are going against the natural life cycle of the plant, wich is for sure going to cause issues, you will probally see straggly growth and 3 leafed leaves for a bit, just keep it under 18/6 and maintain that for a while and you should see the plant come back to normal growth. if you think taking more clones from the mother is a good idea, i would reconsider, everytime you chop a branch off you stress that plant out even more.

let you clone stay in vegg for a while, before yo put it into flower take a couple clones and leave them in 18/6 and you will see a huge difference in the cloning process.

I plan on veggin for atleast a month and a half, take some clones, bud the mothers and start the process over. hopefully I get some healthy clones next time so I dont have to deal with this.

another thing when should I feed? it been 2 weeks since I transplanted and the petoiles are turning purple a day or two after coming up as new growth...

I already said what ill be feeding with but its 1tbsp mexican bat guano, .5tbsp molasses and a pinch of humic acid. its not aerated, ill have to get the supplies for that in the future but is that a good mix to give the ladies?
