I have one of my 6 new feminized seeds starting its third full day since the cotyledon leaves opened up! And unfortunately I am at work 12 hours a day and my roommate is "helping" out with turning lights on. I'm concerned because it's only been getting 8 hours of light and that's due my roommate theory that it's better!? Is it going to stunt the growth or potentially make it start flowering early etc.? Please help I'm worried about what if anything it affected.

Ignore outside influence
Photo seeds need 16 hours a day to stop from going into flower before plant is large enough to flower
Limiting light slows growth in veg
Light em if ya got em :weed:

THANK YOU and I only have it capitalized to be sure that my roommate sees this and stops trying to make it harder on me plus he has nothing invested in the grow all my money and time setting it up and all I asked was for one simple task and it's extremely frustrating!

Why would you need a wifi timer? Just get a timer and set it for 18 on and you're done. If you get a digital one make sure it has a battery backup so you don't have to reset it every time there's a blip in the power. I use mechanical ones with 15 min settings that can handle 1875W. $20 or so and last for years.

Who doesn't have wifi in their homes now a days? It's pretty decent to have one if you don't have one. Most of em have power consumption statistics as well

We get our internet from wifi out in the boonies here and have home wifi for the various devices but don't need to do anything with my timers once they are set. I have a watt meter to test things for power consumption. Put it on my thermostatically controlled heater to see how much power it actually used to keep the grow room at the set temp. Not as much as I thought. I'm paying 26¢/kwh here so knowing how much power each device uses is nice to know.

Got my invite and paid my deposit for Starlink so one of these days we'll finally have some decent bandwidth! Way up at 56N so will be a while yet. :(

:peace:
