PLease HELP!! Need suggestions on what to use to Hang my inline fans and ducting??

I have a 5 air cooled hoods hung and I have a 10 inch inline fan attached to a carbon filter that i am gonna connect to the hoods but im not sure of the best way to hang the fan so that it doesnt blow around and I think im gonna have to be able to adjust the heighth as well as they get bigger. Please any suggestions?

u could use bungee cords at 3 to 4 points on fan to stabilize it

good thread can give you ideas. I can tell you that efficiency in the ducting is crucial to fan performance, coupled with cool intake temps, can have LARGE impacts on cooling capacity

do u think I can get away with just standing it upright and placeing the fan on top?

The fan inself doesnt have to move. Use some flexible ducting and leave enough slack to be able to move your lights from the lowest point to highest point.

ya but can i leave my carbon filter standing upright instead of hanging it and then strap my 10 inch inline fan on top ?

sure, but its best to have the filter sucking from the cieling, or as close as possible
