Growing in pure FFHF soil. Monitoring ph and ppm of water and nutrients. Temp is good, ph is perfect. humidity is 40-60%. I checked my runoff for the first time last night scared me. One plant was 3000 ppm and one over 3000 ! I think I may have started feeding too soon. Fed a couple times once with 1/3 strength And then half strength. using GH flora performance pack. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

Hey bro did you check you're ppm of you're food before feeding .if so what was the reading I'm guessing it was lower than the run off reading.so what I'm getting at is the ffhf soil is respectfully rich so may have just overdosed it.

Question:how far apart were you're 2 feeds

What did you use to check ppm ? Numbers don’t sound right.

Tips :
Happy frog is supplemented well on its own , without adding anything for a few weeks upfront.
Ph 6.5 ... ( Hf is 6.3 ) out of bag.
There is absolutely no reason to check runoff with this soil. As long as you are controlling ph and ppm of “ feed “ prior to adding .
No special water needed ...
Hf has a good mix of myco ... if you go wacky with feeding and chem , you can pretty much torch those microbEs.

Adding more Nutes on top of this “ already “ Nuted soil adds problem. EVERYTIME you water to excess ( runoff ) you begin to leach the soil.

I’ve been using a Vivosun pen style ppm meter. Brand new pretty much. The highest ppm nute solution I gave was around 450. Also feedings were about a week apart with fresh water in between. Also if I’m using demineralized water should I be adding a couple ml per gallon of cal mag? I have been. These last waterings I didn’t use any. Guys have been a HUGE help

just leave them , let them dry out and water/feed when needed , leaves drop when watered/feed sometimes - not a biggy - dont stress :bigjoint:

Keep it simple.
No nutes with that soil.
Water to 25 percent run off.
Don't water until they wilt.
Let them burn through the overnuteing you've done.
