(NEED TO GET NEW USB CORD, PICS TO COME SHORTLY)

THE SETUP:
two 3x3 flood and drain tables, under 1000w hps. I have 50 fresh clones of purple kush in one gallon pots with the very bottom consisting of broken down rockwool and the remainder medium being fytocell. they have been in this setup for about 48hours...with 18 hours of light and 6 of dark..

they get watered twice per 24 hours for 15 minutes, once at lights on and then again one hour before lights out...the reservoirs consist of 25 gallons h20 with botaincare pure blend pro "grow" at 1 tsp/gallon, 1/4 tsp/gallon epsom salts and 0.3 tsp per quart of 35% h202 diluted 6:1 in h20

SOME CONSIDERATIONS:
-the plants were fine about 12 hours ago, and now are severely damaged
-the temp was quite high at 92F.. (just raised the light and now its at 80)
-the 1000w hps was about 2.5 feet away from the rooted clones
-the rockwool cubes that hold the clones are submerged in the fytocell, about .5 inch below the surface (I think they were supposed to be sitting on top, with a centimeter of rockwool above the top of the fytocell)
-half the clones are totally fine, the other half fucked,

THE PROBLEM:
-big time droopage
-no perk whatsoever; the leaves are drooping like wet napkins
-leaves are twisted
-darker in green color but no yellow or anything

any help is much appreciated... thanks

sounds like you fixed it, give it some time see if they perk up.

I don't think just the heat would do that much damage that quickly. It's something you're feeding them, and I'd say it's either the H2O2 or the mg sulfate. You said 'fresh cuttings.' Were they well rooted before going into that system? If not, then that's your problem. If so, then I can't imagine that they need extra MG when so young, so I suggest leaving out the Epsom salts.

I know this thread is ancient but if you didn't figure it out I just experienced this as well. Maybe this will even help someone else out that's searching for this same problem.

I have to top feed my clones until they form a bigger root mass down in to the fytocell. I just took some water out of the rez with a cup and poured it right over the rockwool cubes until soaked (maybe 200ml per plant, twice a day morning and night in veg with 24/0 light and 3x 15m floods per day. It is better to leave the RW slightly above the fytocell because I would guess the RW being soaked all the time would allow mold to grow and you may be in for some dampening off and what not at that point. I believe it is suggested to have the RW about 1/2" above flood level (supplemented by top feed for the first week to establish roots) in all media.

I am going to try to get my aero cloner working again and hopefully a media-less clone will make matters easier and allow me to not have to top feed for that first week and get proper growth from day 1. The only downside I can see is possible floppy plants in the fytocell.

I start at 600 ppm and then bump it way up after the first week like 1600 ppm you should start of light the first week
and I would do the second feeding about half way threw the 18 hours
