PM in flowering, and trimming

Hi Folks,

My girls are ready to be harvested. They have powdery mildew and will be making edibles out of most of the plant, only tops will be saved for smoking. Like to remove as much of the mildew as possible before the harvest.

Can I trim all the leaves and put the plant out in the sun for 24 hours or so before harvest? (they are in cloth pots). Would that help in reducing the mildew, as mildew does not like the sun.

Been experimenting with horsetail and milk/water spray. Could I spray horsetail before harvest, or is that not make a difference.

Anyone do a bud wash before harvest in water/hydrogen-peroxide? Does it affect the trichomes much? Will be making bubble hash to remove more of the PM, as I've read it is smaller than 20 microns.

cheers,
razz

PM is present and the sun just dries it to a chalky film
So no the sun in late flower isn't going to remove it

Bud wash might be your only hope

To reduce PM further following harvest. What would be best water-extraction (bubble hash) or alcohol extraction (ethanol)?
